Veilside Catback - Any Good?

Hey all,

Recently purchased myself an r32 gtr, and one of the goodies it came with was a veilside catback. I haven't heard much about the system, just wanted to get people's opinions on it. Are they considered to be a good system? I fitted a tomei expreme ti catback to my last gtr and it was the best sounding thing on earth. I planned on buying the same system for the 32 purely for the sound, but will I see any extra power? The car is making 240kw atw with just this catback, intake and safc which says to me it must be decent. Just too quiet for me haha.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Cheers, Dan.

Some do, but you can easily see the reducer welded into the back of the muffler if it has one. cutting it out isn't hard and will improve flow, but personally I would be selling it, or keeping this catback for the inevitable defect. The amount of people that ask me for a legal 3 inch system... It's damn hard to make using local mufflers.

I have one. But mine is a 3.5" JASMA and I made 383Kw at all 4.

Brilliant exhaust. and to top off its legal meaning no attention from the coppers.

I also have a 3.5" front pip and dump pipes and a whole raft of other mods :)
