Gtr Badge On Gtst

Recommended Posts

I had to wait till my 40's before I got my dream GT-R.

Be proud of the GTST - its a great car and deserves to be recognised as such. We all start somewhere.

Have fun with it and heed the advice - "Don't buy a GT-R unless you can afford two"*

Cheers

andreas

* The spelling of 'two' is deliberate ;-)

You have a rwd that has the potential for high power, its not an easy car to drive fast, the gtr on the other hand is alot easier to handle in my opinion, i drove a std gtr flat to the floor on a track and thought it was sasy as, i cant drive my gtst flat to the floor without my full attention...

Dont just be proud of your gtst but know that its an entirely different car with its own abilities and attributes.

High powered rwd is the animal that bites back hard, it takes real skill to handle them

I think it's ok if it makes you happy.

But don't do what I've seen a few years ago some guy badged a white gtst a gtr trying to sell it as a real gtr even when the Vin plate said gtst.

He put a rb26 in it but keep the RWD system

so if you ever try selling you could re-badge gtst or advise the new owner to be, of what you have done.

Just some courtesy :D
