GTSBoy
Dunno about the R33 GTR, but the official R32 service manual pdf is on the net in many places. The procedure for entering diagnostic mode is probably the same. I would say though that it is far better to go to a workshop that has a good scan tool and hook that up to the Consult port than trying to get shit computers into diagnostic mode. It's much easier to read codes in plain text than try to interpret the bloody flashes on the dash! XKLABA
A bit more info would help When does it come on, ie straight away or after driving for 1/2 hour etc First check fluid in the reservoir in the boot There is a fault code list somewhere that you count the flashing light on the ECU under the pacel shelf Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/455725-4wd-light-on/#findComment-7516387 Share on other sites

MozzMann
Good point Mr Antelope , I have seen systems that use power to keep the 4WD OFF and if there is no power then it drops to fail-safe mode with 4WD ON. KiwiRS4T
Its on when the car is turned on - its at the mark for max fluid thanks - the car has been sitting for like almost 4 years when I got it. One possible cause is insufficient level in the BRAKE fluid reservoir (I'm speaking from experience here).
