Why are limes so damn expesnive at the moment?

$10 p/kilo at the spudshed, or $1.20 each at coles (at about 100 grams each thats $12 p/kilo!)

What gives Perth?

I diy for my work / daily car but won't take risk for my 35 [emoji22] too complicated ! How did you go with fixing your door? Should we organise some fund raising car wash towards your door ?

I've been quoted $1000 to get it fixed which is going to take me about a month to get, mortgage and bills and what not. I'm not going to ask for donations or a fund-raiser for something like this, it's purely on me and my responsibility. That being said If anyone needs some odd jobs done or is willing to pay me to wash their cars I'd be delighted to... Or if some one would buy my subs/amp ahaha. Other than that the cars just benched until I can afford to fix it/change the tires.

Thanks for the thoughts though.

buy a tree and keep in a pot. the dwarf ones at bunnings are around $20-30 and dont grow very big.

graft a lemon branch onto a lime and have both fruit from the same tree

speaking of fruit ive now got orange, lemonade, pink lady, granny smith, mulberry and 2 Nashi trees in the ground

want apricot, cherry and a dwarf avocado tree next

Canningvale markets on Sunday mornings have better/healthier and cheaper fruit trees than Bunnings IMO

Or even Marangaroo on Saturday mornings.

i went up to guildford garden centre who seems to specialise in dwarf fruit trees for some of them

That's fine too =) Bunnings charges wayyyy too much for what you get. Just sayin

actually i shopped around a bit and i didnt think they were too bad,

i bought citrus from there and it was in good shape and $20 each for dwarfs

i only went to guildford cos they were the only ones who seem to do Nashi pears and their website shows stock levels which is handy

Hmm interesting. I have been looking at the plants there for ages and always found them to be quite pricey. Maybe I haven't been looking at fruit ones for awhile. Or the Bunnings near me is just shit with their quality of plants. Good to know about Guildford though, might take a look if they have anything I want hehe

$28 for a lime tree, if I kept it alive it would pay off.

How hard is it to graft a lemon branch on?

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
