Hey all, new to the community here on SAU,

Anyway my problem is on my N/A R34 Skyline when idling my fuel pressure gauge, which is not aftermarket and sits within the tachometer (reference http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTE5NVgxNjAw/z/KNAAAOSwstxVfVkh/$_75.JPG & http://s153.photobucket.com/user/demandchainguy/media/cluster1.png.html) reads 2kg/cm^2 and it idles a hair under 1,000rpm.

Would be grateful to find out what the usual reading for fuel pressure is in an N/A R34? And if so, what can I do to fix it if it is knackered.

If anyone could help in anyway, I would greatly appreciate it.

@Ben C34 I've only had the car for a few months and never took notice of the gauge until today when I noticed the reading seemed lower, for reference here is what my cluster looks like, specifically the tachometer http://s153.photobucket.com/user/demandchainguy/media/cluster1.png.html .So I was just seeing whether anyone else would know seeing as google isn't very helpful for this kind of problem.

That link doesn't work.

I don't think it's a fuel pressure gauge. I can't think of a are that has a fuel pressure gauge stock.

@Ben C34, heres a link off an ebay listing for a spare cluster http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTE5NVgxNjAw/z/KNAAAOSwstxVfVkh/$_75.JPG,its hard to see but at the bottom of the tach is a smaller gauge, that is from what I can make of it seeing as it reads kg/cm squared, is fuel pressure.

As above, it's oil pressure.

All good.

Ohhh, with that, I found another thread that had this same problem. I feel like a fool slightly for that, but again appreciate the help @Ben C34 and @Stagea97. Should be an easy fix now, again cheers for helping out!

@Hadouken , Never had a car with an oil gauge, and with only a vague symbol to go by and panicking my car was about to go caput, I thought it was for fuel, now after being told its actually a oil pressure gauge, and the other thread mentioning that 2kg per cm^2 sounds about normal. I'll have to check it out myself in detail tomorrow.

That's 28psi at idle. All good.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
