Dont reckon you'll gain too much with a cam gear. Maybe a bit.

Best bet is to piss off the GReddy plenum and go back to factory; will lose some peak power but gain heaps of midrange.

Im aiming for around the power you have now, with a TD06L2 20G, and have kept the factory plenum for exactly that reason. Am using Plazmaman piping to keep clear of high mount turbo.

Think injector size will be too small for e85, and possibly fuel pump.

Can run on e85 and see what you get?

Don't need to change cooler piping/exhaust/exhaust housing at all either.

I went greddy inlet for shorter pipeing and neater engine bay wont be changing that.

I am keen for e85 but closest pump is 45 mins from me so will need to get a 44 gal drum and store it at home.

Think injectors would be on the edge with probaly 380 ish with e85 .

Pumps will be fine 044 and 0404

I made 310rwkws with a TD06-20G on an RB20 with E85. Having run a T67 and TD06 and a billet 73HTA-TD06 on my RB25 I personally rate the 20G or the 73HTA better than the T67. Spin 20psi through one and you will make 320rwkws with a crap load more mid...though you will find you dropping the rev limit to 7,500rpm as the show is over by then.

If I can get a 10cm I will be putting the 20G back on my car and selling the T67

That plenum is where you'll find the most gains with the way your engine is setup. (keeping everything else the same that is) Shorter piping is no match for the midrange that the factory plenum provides. Well proven.

And reckon you'll run out of pump around the same level as the injectors. (On e85 that is)

My tuner advised me that safe level for single 044 on e85 with is around 360-380 kw. May have to add a 2nd 044, which is easy to do with your rail.

Out of interest, what do you reckon a 20G will make on e85 on a 25?

With the tomei cams, do you loose vct? Any reason you went type b over a?

Believe they both retain VCT.

I am keen for e85 but closest pump is 45 mins from me so will need to get a 44 gal drum and store it at home.

If you keep the drum off the ground with some wood or bricks, it'll be fine for 12 months.

I do the same thing, but liberty Main nth road is 5 mins away from home.

Maybe switch to e85 first and see what it makes, if you run out of injector switch to some 1000cc's, or 1200's, and add another pump if need be too.

I would like to stay with the t67 as although this is now a street car it will still see the track pluss i have a spare core for it to i just had rebuilt.

I know there is room to find torque bye getting rid of the ffp but im not willing to remove it as i just like the look and gives headway for crazy power.

I beleive a 044 will support 400 on e85 i could be wrong more then happy to add another if i need to injectors well id like to not have to change them but if need be i can.

I went type b because i got them for a good price wanted choppy idle and because race car hahah

I first built the combo as a drift car but has been transfered into a streetcar.i was looking to go 400kw like simon r32 did with my previous motor that had studs and metal hg with this motor i havent done that so dont want to put much more boost through it

I'd keep the cold side piping the same size as the turbo outlet.

The FFP seems to have varying results, I wouldn't put one on a car now but also wouldn't take one off if it's already on there.

If e85 is not convenient could do the e42 mix.

There's a post from Status here somewhere saying the 8cm doesn't seem to be that much more responsive but loses about 30 or 40kw up top so if doing something with the turbo I'd probably go to a BW or PT.

Stock cams & TB may make it feel a bit better in the mid range.

E42, more boost & maybe head studs

Loves it till it goes bang

If anything is going to stop it going bang, e85 is it. I don't understand why so many of you guys are still using that petrol crap. :P

I understand it can be hard to find in the country but a little proactive email campaign to United would have a pump fitted in no time I suspect. We need an ethanol lobbying group setup as the rollout seems to have stalled due to base stock prices skyrocketing.

As Johnny mentioned, your head studs will be the issue with that much cylinder pressure.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
