Anyone look at one of these when looking at the stag???? Need a wagon and I'm throwing up between m35 axis and possibly the blit. Never seen one nor seem to be able to find much on them... Both auto which is a killer for me but have to look past that... 1jz would be awesome. Interior looks better and more plush on the stag but never been in a m35. Had an autech 260 but sold a long while ago. Wish I could go back but can't. Let me know ur thoughts.

Blit was made from 2002 to 2007. Pretty sure there is none in NZ and I would think they are pretty rare in AU as well. The engines are common Toyota items but I think you would struggle to find any other parts for them. If you were to import one I suspect resale value would be low.

Interior looks more plush? Maybe I just watched the wrong Youtube clips, but it looks no better than an NM35 RS. The grey centre console actually reminded me of a Falcon design, but then Toyota aren't really renowned for nice interiors.

You do know compliance is available for the Crown wagon with a 1JZ, yes?

I read it this way first, went and googled them, then came back to comment similar to yours. I reread the OP and i think, in a slightly clumsy way, he was actually saying the Stag interior is nicer.

Yes stag interior is much nicer indeed. Blit as usual Toyota is bland.... The crown is a littl old and would take the blit over it but good suggestion. I saw there was a manual conversion on a blue stag. Was there a costing on it??? Also what's the kw limit to the z33 6 speed would it dope with 200awkw? From mild mods to the 2.5 with hybrid turbo???

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
