Kakimoto Full mega Dual exhaust or Nismo weldina ne-1 titanium exhaust?

I'm trying to decide between these two exhaust. I would like a nice sounding exhaust and always liked nismo's but it honestly not loud enough for me. I was thinking the kakimoto would give me the sound I want but I fear it would be far to small for a RB32 with low mounts.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Throw that restrictive Jap junk in the dumpster, close the lid and lock it. Make sure you throw the key away.

Do yourself a favour. Go and buy some quality mufflers and get one made.

I have a Jap 3" here with mid muffler and a cannon that isnt overly loud, but also has no step downs in the muffler. Not sure what workshop this mythical creation came from.

Kakimoto Full Mega N1. Had one on my car. Sounded absolutely nuts!

2.8, GT-RS's, E85 and 30 psi netted 414 rwkw with the mega N1.

2.8, -5's, E85 and 24 psi made 424 rwkw with a twin 3 inch.

smaller turbos, less boost, made more power.

Here is a back to back.

So, you can have the mad exhaust in a box that comes with a few stickers so you can add it to your shopping list OR you can put something on that performs. To get more air in you first have to get the exhaust out.

Edit - Just realised that's not the overlay of the 30 PSI run with the RS's, only the 25 psi. Either way, an extra 5 psi made 13 KW. What a nugget :p.

would get a Havoc fabrications "off the shelf" exhaust which is pretty much custom but without the homo step downs... and it's off his jig.

    • Couldn't help but share the pics of my $350 "Hella" oil level sensor that arrived from totalengines via eBay today. It's like they're not even trying anymore ... And I think that's sad.
    • I've got a 2011 J50 that I imported six years ago. The unmodified factory AV system date and time has always been correct ( Japanese timezone of course ) up until last month. About two weeks ago, at engine start, the system wished me a happy new year ( in Japanese of course ). I can't think of anything that would make the system think that the date had changed, unless the GPS component has failed/reset somehow ? I checked the GPS reception in the system settings, and it can still see the satellites. Has any other J50 owner had this happen ?  It's no biggie, just annoying that it tells me the wrong date anytime I start the engine. 😅
    • Love following your adventures on IG, hopefully if you're still around in Japan when we visit again wouldn't mind going for a few beers with you (that's if you're keen on hearing how I hate Nissans).

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
