madaxgt
To drag up an old thread. I recently stripped an engine I got and it has grex/greddy main and head studs. Anybody know the torque specs for the rb26 grex head studs? SiR_RB
As a guess I would say arp2000 specs should be fine mate if you can’t find solid info on them Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/470197-rb26-grexgreddygreddy-main-studs/#findComment-7883394 Share on other sites
Shoota_77
If you can't find the actual specs then I'd stick with standard RB26 specs, maybe just a touch higher. Being a stud as opposed to a bolt the actual clamping force will be greater than a bolt at the same torque so at factory spec you're actually at a theoretical higher tightening torque level if that makes sense?
