Knore i hope to see you there, im interested to see how your car goes.

So am i! Added a few things since the last time you seen it :(

And shes running really well with the current setup, i want to get some times down before changing turbo if i end up doing so

So u guys are meeting at BP coomera at 4:30

Thats not the same as BP Yatala is it

knore, bp coomera is all the way down the coast.....its opposite dreamworld. Dont u live way up in bris? Id suggest just save the hassles of driving down to meet me and nexus, just meet at willowbank unless u can find any other bris ppl to meet with?

Anyway all the details are at www.willowbank-raceway.com.au

Call me on my mobile i listed if u have any probs. We will be there at about 5:15 to 5:30 and ill give ya the run down on it all :)

knore Gates open 5pm runs start at 5.30pm. I intend to get there at 5pm so I can set the car up. If you would like to meet up and run out together that would be fine. I'll be leaving my place at Enoggera about 4pm so pm me or 0408 177 150 if you want to

Knore, you just have to fill out a form with your details. They will give you this when you pay at the gate. Then once you have set your car up (if you have to), go line up in the staging lanes and fill out your form (bring pen). One of the staff will walk through the staging lanes taking the forms and writing race numbers on windows. Then you're right to go...just gotta wait till you're at the front of the que! :)

Scott

knore: i got my helmet in the car but i ain't coming.. so you will have to pick it up or send somebody down to pick it up(?).

I am in nerang at the moment. If u guys are going early I definitely won't be able to drop it off at Southport before 5pm..

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
