Mick
just to make sure you know, you have to replace both the gears, the one in the adjuster and on the headlight, looks like they are aluminium so they will last forever mate Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/472404-high-beam-screw-adjusters-bnr32/page/2/#findComment-7856587 Share on other sites

Mick
the pdf file has a easy step by step showing how to easily replace them, but if you dont feel comfortable then you shouldnt attempt it i guess, but it does look very simple Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/472404-high-beam-screw-adjusters-bnr32/page/2/#findComment-7856908 Share on other sites

Mick
thats awesome mate, so did you order the tamiya sp-602 gear set from ebay or somewhere? I believe the actual order number from tamiya is 50602. but i seen them on ebay cheap anyways, so is this what your definatly going to do, in my opinion it is the best option cos the metal gears will last forever, but i did get a msg from a member here called firstgtst and he said he has an old headlight, he replied to a thread i put up on the wanted section asking if anyone had an old broken r32 headlight, i just sent him a msg asking him to check if the adjusters gears are good and asked how much he wants for it, i will let you know what he says, but i would seriously go for the metal gears anyways cos you never know how good secondhand adjusters are and how long they will last you Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/472404-high-beam-screw-adjusters-bnr32/page/2/#findComment-7857312 Share on other sites

Mick
good stuff mate let me know how you go installing them and if it is as easy as it looks and works perfectly once its done, at least you will know the cogs will last forever Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/472404-high-beam-screw-adjusters-bnr32/page/2/#findComment-7857730 Share on other sites
omnigear
it was easy mode, just light prying on the bevel gears and off it comes. I did lube it and wd40 prior to removal, so it was slip n slide.
