RB25 oil pump upgrade

I am currently upgrading my oil pump in my RB25, just wanted to confirm that the 81mm RB26 reimax gears will fit my pump?

Also the housing was quite scored internally, would this be anything to worry about? I also have to heli coil a thread for the back in plate of the pump as one of the screws had to be drilled out, is this okay or not recommended?

Scoring is definitely something to worry about. Pump gears are pump specific so 26 won't fit rb25 pump. From sound of it, suggest you get a new pump.

I use an rb26 N1 pump with Spool gears, was best price overall and have had no issues with it on rb25

Yep better off buying a second hand oil pump and using that instead.
