R34 Nismo 2 Way

Hi guys, I've purchased a wreck which i stripped for a bunch of parts for my street car. The owner of the wreck told me the car had a nismo 2 way in it, is there any particular way to identify this diff?

I can't see any markings on it to indicate what it may be.

Take the rear cover off, look at the ramps in the holes in the centre casing.  If the ramps are symmetric, it's a 2 way.  The shape/machining of the casing, when compared to photos from google image search, will tell you if you are looking at a Nismo, or a Cusco, or a KAAZ, or one of the other options.

Yeah assumed as much, just didn't know if they were stamped with something externally i could suss before pulling it apart.

The outer case is the same outer case that the original Nissan diff was in.  Nismo does not supply the housing, just the internals.  Same as any diff.

more on this, if the ramps meet at what looks like a 90 degree angle its just a nissan lsd:

if the ramps are much more shallow are more like a 135 degree incident angle like this then its a nismo diff.
