Will an R33 GTST Steering rack suit a GTS?

In need of replacing my steering rack, i know its probably a dumb question but i don't want to buy it and it be a waste of money

They are not the same, the GTST rack will be to suit a HICAS system Part No 4900119U00

The GTS rack is Part No. 4900115U05.  

They will physically interchange, but I would suggest the internal valving is different. Unknown result.

It's probably a ratio difference. Can't see any reason why they would be incompatible in any other way. It's not even as if the rear steer was hydraulic on a 33. And even on an R32, where the rear is hydraulic, the two circuits are separate anyway.

Sorry i should also point out it was the front rack that needs replacing, alright no worries im just finding it hard to come by a gts rack at the momment but finding plenty of gtst's

Yuh, it was clear that you were talking about front rack, seeing as you wouldn't/couldn't have HICAS on an NA car anyway.

 

I was just pointing out that HICAS/non-HICAS shouldn't make a fundamental difference in the way the front rack connects to the car (mechanically and hydraulically) because it is an independent system anyway.
