200 3rd gear passenger in a r33 gtr at 6400rpm .. had to tell him to back down coz the speed wobbles on the rims was pretty hairy.

Was it an auto ?? he he - Cause 3rd gear in a manual won't be that fast.

I've redlined my line in 4th and taken it to about 6k in 5th down the main straight at EC - but f'd if I know what speed I was doing - cause I was looking at the good damned road ahead - and that f'ing nasty hight speed corner at turn 1.........

I did this on a Dyno so nothing illegal here, 261KPH on the RSM and 260KPH is what the dyno machine read. Hit rev limiter at 7200rpm. Was pretty impressed with the accuracy of the RSM actually. But then again is doesnt take into account wind resistance, tire friction and of course the good old VIC police.

ya, take into account the resistance of the air @ 260 and its a lot different.

For ALL you guys mentioning roads etc

Edit/remove your posts. SAU doesnt condone high-speed street activities

If you dont, i'll do it for you, and you may well cop a warning

Good to see lots of people are doing it on the track though. Much safer :D

My line - dunno. Had it up to 190ish (limiter) plenty of times, but haven't had it out at the track since PFC went in due to dying/dead coils, which I'm currently too pov to fix.

Bike - somewhere around 250-260 at Darlington Park, maybe could have gone a few km/h quicker but was already crapping myself about the blind right-hander at the end of the straight! I've seen 288 on it, at an airfield way out near where I was contracted at the time. Wanted 300 but not enough tarmac.

Warnings have been handed out.

again, i'll say...

SAU Does not condone illegal street behaviour.

Simply dont post up about it if you didnt do it on a track

if people cant follow that, thread will be closed.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
