Officer Pettiet - knox TMU - TOTAL WANKER

Recommended Posts

This guy is a total f*cking wanker. He defects my car and doesn't even give me a week to drive it, i got defected at about 8:45 and he puts on the canary that the car cannot be used after 8:30pm that night so i was supposed to get it towed home....... If u ever get pulled over by this fagget dont expect anything less than a total f*ck up the arse. The worst thing is he drives a silver/grey undercover XR8 so u cant even see this ugly mug coming. Most cops are ok when they give u a canary, i mean they defect you and all but at least they give u a week to drive the car around and get it fixed, and more importantly just to get the car home, This cop goes out of his way to be a dicksnap.

I live in Knox and go there every week. I have been pulled over a couple of times but most of the Police have been good.

I would make a formal complaint as there seems to be a lot of issues with this particular police officer.

He is just a total f*ckwit....he pulls u over for no reason then defects the crap out of you. I think its unfair to have to get the car towed home, I always thought there was a minimum of a week that they had to give you unless there was something intrinsically wrong with the car that made it unsafe - there was nothing wrong with my car that made it unsafe, sure its a bit low, blow off valve, boost controller but nothing that would be of any harm to myself or other road users. I've owned the car for just under a year and its never been 'unsafe' as Officer Dicksnap said. I'm happy to make a complaint against this turd and if anyone else wants to aswell then send me a PM.

Chief: You busted up that cruise pretty bad, Pettete. Did you really have to issue so many canaries?

Pettete: You tell me, Chief. You had a pretty good view from behind your desk.

Homer: Ah, Pettete: eases the pain.

Chief: You're off the case, Pettete!

Pettete: You're off *your* case, Chief!

Chief: What does that mean exactly?

Homer: [yelling] It means he gets results, you stupid chief!

you guys should put in a formal complaint or do something about it.. rather than just whinge.

plant drugs on him or something and get him fired.. easily done

pretty much every victorian out eastside has run across of him, and you hear his name across lots of different forums whenever vic is mentioned..

Just make a complaint to the ombudsman (spelling)

if they receive enoughh written complaints they are compelled to act.

I'll be doing that in the near future with a few "initiatives" ill be taking to combat the frequent victimisation. If i have success (which im sure i will) ill try get everyone modified car owner in Vic doing it.

Then we'll see who gets hassled.

Just watch what you say on public forums. Its happened on ns.com where they have read victorian forums then gone and found out who people are and defected them (white_s13) at their work. So please make a formal complaint and try to sort out this issue that way, public forums just attract too much attention. sorry to be downer japcab, i know what your talking about, 2 of my friends have been reamed and not allowed to drive the car home, for a bleed valve!

:( I love it!

Yeah sounds to me like this officer may have some issues. I'm from Knox and havn't had a worry.....yet, so fingers crossed. I do agree that IF he is really just playing it hard and being unfair then somthing needs to be done.

Yeah thats VERY true. It's a fantastic idea to carry one and pull it out when they are talking to you, it's within your rights and you'll notice how their attitude changes pretty quickly. It's a nice effective trick but of course if your in the wrong in the first place then there isn't much you can do!

    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
