These where my results. The cam gear is still set at 0 Degrees, and the champion god sydney Kid has some great ideas that will help me, because the cam gear at 4 degrees made the car lose power, a total of 30rwkw.

But as sydney kid said, the cam gear needs to be set at 4 degrees and the ignition timing on the CAS needs to be checked with a timing light.

Will pay him a little more to check it tomorrow.

**** the car is fast now.... Like really fast.

This is all at 11psi - here are my mods

Enclosed Pod Filter

Hybrid Intercooler

Stock Plenum

Stock Turbo, and unopened motor

Full split Dump and front pipe, 3 inch

High Flow Cat

3.5 inch cat back, small muffler and 4 inch cannon

Apexi Power FC with Hand Controler (Nengun July Special for $1149 delivered..)

**** it's got some balls now.

never dealt with them before, not mates rates but it cost -

$690, but they -

****ed around with the cam gear (with no results) still at 0 degrees (any movement lost nearly 30rwkw)

over 30 dyno runs, used over 12 tank!

New Timing Belt

Radiator removed and install twice (once to put the gear on, and once to put the cam cover back on)

Coolant Flush

2 days worth of tune

Guy stayed late working out the PFC

Showed me heaps about it

awesome result mate!!

was that with 98Ron?

nah, 95 ron fuel (all we got) and with a 8 - 10% mix of toluene

I am going to have to keep putting it in or it might ping the mechanic says.

Better for the car anyway

Interesting..I'll be doing the same, but with a exh cam gear and a GTT intercooler.. I had 139.7kw with just a pod..

I've bought the cam gear some time ago so I'll just put it on and see what happens.

great effort But i have an r33 series11,with blitz lm fmic,4inch exhaust apexi, no cat, powerfc, boost control kit, dump pipe from turbo apexi pod filter cold air box and mine produced 214.8rwkw with 15psi.

just remember, I am only running 11psi, and I have a cat.

Anything over 14psi is flogging your sII turbo hard and don't expect it to last long.

Whats your detonation levels like?

managed to run a 13.6 down the quarter mile in Mackay here.

Hardcore lowered JIC Coilovers (disadvantage)

18" 235 Tyres (20psi)

And a dirty pod filter.

What do you guys think?

I reckon I could get more out of it

    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
    • I haven’t pulled the injectors to watch them spray yet but they are clicking from the cas and all of the spark plugs are wet with fuel. I’ve thought the cylinders were being flooded from the beginning and was hoping fuel pressure would fix it. Tonight I am going to pull the rail and watch the injectors spray. Don’t know how to test/diagnose if the plugs are firing in correct sequence but that should be a timing thing and as far as timing goes my car still has the half moon for the cas can only install it 1 way. And my mechanical timing is 100% correct I posted photos above. Confirmed with the balancer on and off.
