I second that! Unique Autosport's are great. They managed to quickly diagnose a timing problem when I put my car up on their dyno after I installed an FMIC. They fixed it, and boom lots more power.

John was great too, he came out to have a squiz and a chat. Provided great helpful hints and tips.

They aren't too far away! Castle Hill, it's like 10-15mins from my place , or about 20 or so from the Windsor road M2 exit if you're coming from far away.

wil...

I disagree abo bob.....UAS are always professional and very friendly guys....I know, i did some work for them...never had a better workplace in my life...Keep up the good work guys!

If they are such great guys then why am I still waiting on my credit card to be refunded on an order that they stuffed up over three months ago.

To cut a long story short, I puchased a product but they sent me the wrong one (wasn't for my model). They told me to send it back because they would order the right one. After a month of hearing nothing I contacted them and they said you can no longer get them (which I found out is BS after doing my own invesitgations). They agreed to refund me a month ago but I am still waiting......no money and no response to my emails.

Maybe they are good if you own a skyline and you go there in person, but I could NEVER recommend buying something from them via mail order.

RRR - I think you are feeling the pain of what I call - "Miscommunication when buying car parts remotely"

Unfortunately it happens.

What I do know is that UAS would not try to deliberately rip you off.

I have delt with John and his team for quite a while know and they are all good , honest, import enthusiasts.

What tends to happen is that because they are good at what they do, they are busy. When you get busy other stuff happens that distracts them.

My suggestion to you would be to ring them up and explain the situation - I'm sure you will work it out if you communicate with them and they communicate with you.

Cheers,

According to my last phone conversation the money was going to be refunded. That has not happened. I must have gone back and forth with these guys at least 6-7 times. There is no communication problem, it is just a simple fact that I am just a small customer so they couldn't be bothered giving me proper service.

Being too busy to deal with your customers just doesn't cut it with me I am affraid. If you are too busy then hire more staff.

Anyway, enough said. They have one more week before I will be taking further action.

I would like to know about this one as I certainly know what you are talking about. I can assure you we do not hide, in fact the opposite often happens where customers sometimes take advantage of us. Please call me or email me your phone number so I can sort it out. My staff are very good but also handle many orders and this may have slipped through the cracks. Who did you speak to by the way? What was the product and do you still have it or?

Actually I PM you my mobile number.

Also RRR I can understand your frustraion. Tim has explained bad boy and all sorted.

Even though it was only a gear knob it still should not happen but these days very rare for us and we handle $5 to $6k of tackle and service each day. With this volume and lots of gear knobs etc and orders and it is a masterpeice of co ordination but sometimes the wheels fall off. Our supplier told us could not get this gear knob so maybe it was not right info. Tim is very good but not perfect I certainly am not and this is why I have Tim and Shane. Also need to clarify it was not three months but a bit over 2 months and not so many emails I think two or three and none to me. If you or anyone if you or anyone ever has a prob and not getting sorted ASK for ME. If a company does not do the right thing and not resolved then yes tell others. Especially if the boss says jam it or ignores.

My R33 is going in to UAS for a tune with HKS2835 turbo this Friday.

UAS now have the FC logit software for RB25DET Power FCs so I am very keen to see how that goes.

Cheers,

The FC software goes very well when used on mine last week

    • When you crank your car, and hit it with a timing light, can you see a steady crank timing?
    • Oh, forgot to add, A few months ago I was getting mixture codes and the car was using crap loads of fuel. You could smell the unburned fuel in the exhaust, it was crazy strong. Economy was over 17.5 l/100 and usually around 19. I smoked the engine and found a leaky CCV hose which I replaced and then I replaced my two pre cat O2 sensors, I also replaced the MAF. This fixed my mixture codes and improved my exonomy but I'm still 14 - 15 l/100 when pottering about town so something is still amiss. Throttle response is much better and it has more pep but I'd like to know why it's still so thirsty (and I'm hoping that whatever it is gives me a bit more poke).
    • Car is on factory injectors/z32 maf/ q45 throttle body/ z32 ecu with nistune
    • Hello all, currently finishing up a rb25 swap into my s14. Having issues with starting, car has spark (confirmed by pulling a plug and watching it spark), has fuel(confirmed by checking pulse/voltage at injectors all spark plugs are soaked in fuel). Car cranks over and pops into the exhaust with a heavy fuel smell but no attempt to start or run, I have torn the timing cover off and triple confirmed timing, turned the CAS in multiple spots both directions, attempted to start with coolant temp and maf unplugged, checked my fuel lines and made sure they weren’t backwards, checked voltage at cas/injectors/coilpacks, made sure all the grounds in the harness are connected and added a few grounding straps (1 from chassis to block, 1 from chassis to head, and 1 from chassis to igniter chip) I am getting stumped here. As a last ditch effort I made a full grounding harness tonight that’s going to run from the battery and add an extra ground from the battery onto the coil pack harness/igniter chip/ intake manifold/ Wiring specialties harness ground/ and alternator. I’m hoping maybe the grounding harness will fix it here but posting here to see if anyone has any other ideas on what else I can check. My fuel pressure is unknown right gauge will be here tomorrow.  IMG_3206.mov
    • yeah I was shocked when I checked my spare OEM on and as below that's how they come from Nissan. (side interesting note new NEO gearbox and replacement park lack the brass bush on the tips and its just all alloy) unsure about damage to the box currently back at 1110 to be pulled down/inspected and selector fork replaced as he built it previously and given the never before seen failure on his billet forks he is replacing it under warranty. He said he has used always OEM the keyway tab without issue for years so it could be an unlucky coincidence. I did talk to him about the sharp corners and stress concentration too. Re: hard shifts i got 7+ years out of the OEM one and the fork itself failed not the keyway. so could be bad luck as I said or an age thing + heat cycles in box and during fabrication of billet?
