wanna buy my wheels??? :)

haven't seen that pic before either. Car could be coming to sydney for Final Battle Autosalon too.

What new wheels you looking at man? That thing would be perfect with a new front bar! I 'think' I will be going in Autosalon Newcastle - havnt decided yet though

Spotted a Bayside Blue S2 just off Swan Street in Richmond last night around 11pm, Ian was that you? That's my first spot outside of Auto Salon, was pretty excited had to rub my eyes a couple of times to make sure it was really there! We were parked on the opposite side of the road, in the Commodore though... Would have been classic to have 2 Stagea's parked in the same street, need to get my alarm installed so I can remove the 5K theft excess! :)

Cheers

Luke

well if it were a s2 then unfortunately was not me...

although i have been on Swan st a couple of times this week and weekend.

OHH spotted a white S1 this morning on the way to work Corner Burwood Hwy and Springvale Rd....

though it was Alex as it was identical to his although i was wrong.... unless alex lent his car out??

Time: 09:54am

Place: Caloundra Turn Off

Direction: North on the Bruce Hwy

Car:Green S1

Identity: Qikstagea - I think.

I was heading South at the time (yellow S2) and I dont think the driver looked over. I tried to flash the lights but we had almost passed by then. What really freaked me out was that as soon as I saw the Stagea from a distance I said to the wife - there's qikstagea - didnt even have to think about it...I must be on this forum too much as I have only ever seen one picture of his car.

Spotted a Pearl White Stagea (s1) parked in Macquarie Street in Parramatta (NSW) this afternoon. I was on the way home from work, keeping my eyes open for traffic and kamakaze pedestrians, so by the time I realised what it was, it was too late for me to check the number plates... Looked stock, though.

and qikstagea is thrilled to know his car is recognisable from a distance... - thats what its all about ladies and gents. poser value. oh and comfort etc.

my fiance had the car that day though... cos i have no licence atm... but yep was definitely it.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
