Hi All...

Dropping my girlfriend home at Catle Hill I see hundreds of Ricers going northbound on the freeway... Then on my way back home I have to basically stop on the freeway (I thought there must hav been an accident) but when we got goin again no cars anywhere but had to do about 60 from Hawkesbury Bridge through to Mt White...

Then on the news tonight I hear about P-Platers having a go slow and causing a 6 car pile-up. Talking to a girl i know, apparently it was a Hot-4's cruise or something and the cops where waiting for them at Terrigal and defected them all.

Suck shit if that is true.

Anyone know the full story??

yeah it is true, visit hot4s cruise section to find out all the info, but 6 cars got involved in an accident, one was a write off, apparently traffi ahead stopped really suddenly and the pile up happened and then there was too many cars to fit into terrigal so they got told to leave, and whilst leaving FLYGTI did a burnout accidently apparently and the cops were waiting at the top of the hill and came fanging it down and booked him, so they went to the entrance and got kicked out as well apparently, so i donoo, feel sorry for BKDFKP cause he is a nice bloke and it was his cruise and no harm was intended and authorities and everyone was told about this cruise happening.

yup

hot4s cruise organized by bkdfkp... lucky i didnt go as i slept in

apparently there were a number of separate accidents on this cruise

but the main one was on the news

dont know the entire story but apparently it was raining but everyone was going the speed limit (i.e. 100-110) so i dont know what went wrong there

lol. Every cruise they go to Terrigal and get defected. Maybe they should go somewhere else?

I remember their last "mega cruise" up there ended up in a Golf/Pulsar or something like that being written off in a multiple car pile up, and people boasting about doing 180km/h on the shoulder of the freeway.

Not to mention the behaviour of several individuals once they arrived at Terrigal.

Its really no wonder that modified car enthusiasts end up with such a bad name

Man, what is the go with the the drama queens over there in Hot4s ???

With the a riced up cars they drive (not all, but most) I never thought they'd be starved for attention, but it seems that I was very, very wrong.

I think they need a big canister of Cyanide..............I mean Timeout Gas :P

What does "Crud Peezer" mean? :P:D:(

That number plate is one HELL of a stretch to get to what it's supposed to mean.

I read it as crud poser. I have no idea what it's supposed to mean, i don't get half the plates i see anyway though as i cant be stuffed thinking about it for more than 2 seconds. Damn A.D.D.

Read any thread on Hot 4s and they all have 4 pages of crap at the end before the mods lock them. Guess that what happens when every one on the forum is under 16, whether physically or mentally.

    • Yeah i found that alot of parts can be wrong or "very" hard to get the real right one. I already bought some brakes years ago on me "old" GT calipers and they were wrong too 😄  I told them too. Even send them pictures...but they said "EBC catalogue has them on my car... So i dont know what their answer will be. I call monday them and let them know that they are really not on my car. If they were they would be already on a car...
    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
