Hey Guys/Girls.

Looking at conducting a broup buy for PWR radators and Intercoolers.

I have recently completed one for another forum and people were very happy, due to the special price they gave me I promised them that I will sell for them some more.

Please express your interets on a group buy on intercoolers and radiators.

These are not like the otherones advertised here .. they are of high quality and performance, as used by V8 Supercars, World Record Holding drag racers in US etc.

Cheers

Sam

just wondering though... they recomended the 40mm to me, but just wondering is there any downside in going to the 57mm for mainly street use? My car has alot of mods and a far wack of power, plus I do as many track days, drags etc as I can so wouldnt the 57mm be better?

If you want to run a group buy, obtain all the nessesary information before starting a thread - This will save endless questions and confusion.

And pending the prices available for a triple core R33 GTR radiator i may be interested

hi mate i may be interested for 1 for a r32gtr ,,,,,when u post a price and more details though...............

thanks

Yeah guys I know how to do group buys .. this is easily my 10th one.

Just gaugng interest ... hence the EOI part.

Price depends on numbers .. and numbers depends on price .. catch 22 .. so a rough idea of either gets you a rough idea of the other ..

Will keep you posted.

Cheers

I picked up one of these for my 33 GTR the other day. Normal retail was $770 for the 40mm and $850 for the 57mm. Same price for 32s. They are a fine looking bit of gear!

up for a twin core (40mm one)

was told that a twin core isnt ideal for street use as it soaks the heat too much, not getting constant air like a fulltime track car would

I dont want to discourage anyones group buy, but in the interest of saving SAU people money. I would suggest you give Race Radiators in Dandenong, VIC a call before getting a PWR unit.

I just installed mine and they did an awesome job.

Race Radiator

59 Bennet St Dandenong VIC 3175

ph: (03) 9793 2798

Tell Rob (Owner) Chris with the White 33GTR sent you.

Scotsman .. Race Radiators are excellent, I was going to organise a group buy through them initally and they were very helpful, however liasing with them was difficult for me and they couldn't match PWR's price. I have what i would call good contacts. Anyway ... sorry it took so long but best i could muster was $615 for a radiator 40mm

Options:

21psi Racing Radaitor Cap $+25

Courier Nationwide $35

Pickup in SE QLD $Free ;)

PWR reccomend 40mm for the street and 57mm for heavy track vehicles 40mm unit can handle more than 700hp on the street!

Cheers Guys.

i'm keen for a barrel cooler. can u do one of those?

Hey Buddy,

My mate has one of these for sale.

If I had extra money I would have brought it off him no questions. He got it in the last PWR group buy.

Oh well, I got mine a few weeks ago. They are a damn fine looking unit at a reasonable price. I got the 57mm one for my GTR but only cause I have gone complete overkill on cooling, track days scare me .

may be interested in 40mm.

when does this group buy end and when will payment be due? Also, what is the minimum number of people required to qualify for this price?

Could you please post a link to the group buy you organised on the other forum.

The group buy will be carried out as soon as all the money is in.

I am targeting for the wednesday after Easter. To go in and pay for them, then you are looking at 2 weeks until it is made and delivered to your door via Insured courier.

The minimum number of people is 7.

The link for the other group buy is http://ausrotary.dntinternet.com/forums/vi...pic.php?t=52188

if you are worried about credibility, check out my trader feedback here http://ausrotary.dntinternet.com/forums/vi...pic.php?t=24711 I am a moderator on Ausrotary.com

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
