THE do-it-yourself craze is leading to thousands of injuries from angle grinders. Almost seven Queenslanders a day are turning up at hospitals with injuries from the high-speed tool, used for cutting metal and other hard materials

Cy, you're now a statistic :(

It isnt as bad as Cyrus, i dont really care if it needs stiches cuz im not letting no doctor stick a needle near me.

Tip - Next time u drill into those blank plastic clip things in your dash use a vise. Holding it with your fingers doesnt quite work when the drill bit grabs.

OK list of self inflicted injuries:

1. 3 years old, was seeing how high I could throw a brick up in the air and still catch it. Needless to say I missed, but the brick didnt. Broken collar bone

2. 3 years old, while toboganing down my street my foot snagged a drain. Broken ancle.

3. 5 years old, while ice skating and trying to break the under 5 ice speed record, hit a car. Broken ribs & left arm.

5. 10 years old, riding along beside the gutter with thongs on, got a bit close and my left foots toenails were whisked away in under a second.

5. 13 years old, while riding a motorbike, at night, with no lights, in the middle of a national forest, rode into a newly erected barb wire fence flat out in second. dislocated shoulder, broken arm, HEAPS of stictches and a cool helecopter ride.

6. 15 years old, while snowboarding at night on a closed run, while illegally tresspassing, took a wrong turn which lead to a big drop, ended up in a tree with a broken leg and minor cuts and abrasions.

7. 17 years old, while holding onto the side of a car, riding my bike, I got the speed wobbles around 70kph. Bike hit side of car and went under, left leg went with it. Also took out my left kneecap, which is now a mirror copy of my right kneecap and has a lovey Dow Corning brand name stamped into the back of it.

And they are just the major's, I would not have enough room to list the minors like the grinder incident.

Summary, yes I did have a deathwish and was very very stupid ;)

Hang on a sec, maybe should change that "did" to a "do" :)

Stupendos Moronic Idiotic Klutz

No I just do things which other people think are that way, Ed's got the best sig:

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
