No way mate - you need to remember I buy a new set of tyre approx. every 3 months - the price of 17's is bad enough already .... plus I use the car all day for work so need some sort of comfort - the low profile of 18s makes car inherently bumpy and relatively uncomfortable. I'll stick with my Blades thanks - I think they suit the car really well.

Used Tyre Mart on Gran Junction Road. Its three mins west of JMS.

is that the tyre place located on a corner near a plastic recycling tip and opposite a petrol stations? if thats the case, they dont sell used 18" - ive been there.

It's a big yellow joint, barbed wire fencing around the outside, on the nth side of grand junction road. There is also one on South Road @ Edwardstown/Melrose Park.

I've been there before and enquired about it when I was looking for rims and they did stock 18s. I spose it depends on whats available. Last time I went there was mid January.

He said they do get them, but they go pretty fast.

guess theres not many motorsport fans, dont understand why people bag V8 Supercars.

And the CLipsal 500 has a better atmosphere than the Melb GP by far even tho it lacks the F1s zooming around.

Used Tyre Mart , u may get a bargain if lucky.

i got a pair of Michlin pilot sport with 80% tread for $100

but finding a "pair" of tyre is pain in the arse

the one in Gran Junction Road has lot more choice
