and is the carpark noticeable when you turn right at those lights, silv?!

noticeable?? lol

you turn right and all you see on you left is a massive car park

it will be empty at night so no speed hump issues etc.

depending on what time you all meet

i might come say hello if you decide to meet there

Well, my dreams have come true, i was supposed to work this weekend, but i have got it off on leave! If i had to work i was gonna chuck a sickie

So far so good, im going to go for a cruise through the nasho at around 8pm to make sure the road is open and warm my tires up :D

Ill see you all on waratah street at 9:30pm Sat night! w00t!

How about this one, I know it seems like doubling back or something, but its only 5 mins out of homebush, then back through to kirrawee? big carpark to meet at

Brays Bay Reserve

my advice is don't do brays bay reserve. it is a known pick up point for homosexuals and also for drug deals and of course car clubs. police go through there regularly, not that that should be a problem as I'm sure you will all be driving roadworthy cars in a law abiding fashion, but still the attention is unwanted I'm sure.

been busted there a couple times have we??

picking up lil boys

lol

Quote: Flora St in kirrawee, there's a fair bit of on street parking there, a very very dead quiet street at night (that part of it is anyway) /Quote...

Probably not a gd idea parkin anywhere on that street, as theres a police station, but maybe all the way further down that street would be ideal..

the police station is on the OTHER side of the street, all the way in sutherland.

Either way, i say we stick to the original plan. 8:30pm meet at homebush, 9:30 meet at kirrawee, 10pm leave for nasho

nah, but last time I was at a meet there was two little kids asking for you. they said you had some candy for them? either way that place is best not used for night meets.... unless you're into that.....silver.

dunno mate. thinking about it. not really keen on these big 'runs'. too much opportunity for inexperienced drivers to cause grief to themselves and to me. much prefer a trackday or the like. having said that a nice spirited drive with the legal speed limits (which I'm sure this is) on some nice roads is always fun.

Are you guys sure u want to go through so early? chances are there will be people coming back from the clubs in bundeena and mainbar around that time. some of u 'flamin hooligans' might not want cars coming the otehr way...

Ill be meeting u all at kirrawee

heh This should be good!

looking forward to it!

anyone bringing a dig cam to make a small video or something of the night?

Im bringing digi cam and digi video cam. Ive got 2 passengers so one can take photos and one can take videos! I hope i dont have to much wheight on board! Dont wanna get slowed down in the NASHO! :(

what thomas said!!

guys.. please be careful out there.. there are plenty of straights for overtaking, so wait for them.. none of this overtaking around blind corners as i have seen some idiots do!!!

just remember... its a spirited drive, not a race!!!

meet place is still homebush... seeya there!

:werd:

Especially with the 35 km/h corners. Dont under estimate them! I know 3 people that have lost a car each on this one corner because it has a double apex. All in all we are all in for a fun drive. Moanie, are we gonna stop when we get to stanwell tops? for a regroup then convoy it up the freeway?

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
