OS twin plate clutch

hey, jus new to dis site, so sorry 4 any stuff ups.

anyway, is it normal for a OS twin plate to hav a rattling sound (like metal on metal) wen the clutch is in?? wen eva i change gears i hear it. I got told its normal, the 2 plates r rattling agaist each other. is dis true???

Yep, & it's very annoying.The triple & quads do it to.

I have an exedy twin in the R34 & at the lights, in neutral

with my foot off the clutch pedal it rattles its head off.

Nothing much you can do about it.

Fellas , read the post . He said when it is IN which I consider is not normal.

Could be overcentering if the throwout carrier wasn't the right one or the fork is too short.

Oops , soorryy. Your right , was way past my bedtime and I hadn't had my cocoa:D

jvs007 a rattle is correct but a grinding sound is not. Have had both before and got confused.

Damn Alschieme... , damn alsscheme... , aaahhh whetever!
