R34 Bov Ideas??????

Hey Guys,

I have recently bought a r34 GTT & i am looking at getting a bov for it. what do you recomend? I am looking for a flutter noise but either way it doesnt matter. where would be the best place to purchase etc??

Hi,

I have the factory valve and with a pod filter, it makes the BOV noise but not flutter. If you search for it on most forums, you'll find that the flutter is a bad noise. Some people claim its the HKS SSQV while the believe the majority believe that valves are adjusted incorrectly causing turbo surge. Either way, its up to you whether you still want to go ahead.

You can try the forums for BOV's or places like autobarn etc or if you can wait, try www.nengun.com if you want to get it cheap and can install it yourself.

yeah look in the forced induction section, the hks ssqv from memory isnt a flutter noise.....

and yeah some people say that the flutter noise is jst having the valves tightned good * shrugs *, beats me. good luck in findin one anyways.

I had a copy HKS sseq on my R33 and sounded awesome. I took it off cause I could not stop myself from hearing it .. And it made my idle problem even worse.....

I got a blitz. Not too loud and no flutter, i like it

plumback bov = no harassment or blitz with filter attachment is also legal i believe
