:woot: depends how old and what motor, changed the motor in the FC in a little over an hour from go to woe and barely got dirty :D

Like everything is an inch thick in grime, should have really taken to it with a pressure washer first, but meh too late now.

can tell a butcher has been working on it though, that many stripped bolt heads over tightened bolts.. my temper is limited haha!

hopefully its going again tomorrow if burson's is open and i can get the last few things i need.

Will be fun to drive the old girl again and even more fun when its wearing the old LCA's and coilovers from my silvia.

Would love to throw an S13 rack in it also to get rid of bump steer, but im not quite that enthusiastic just yet.

Had my R31 tuned at Dr Drift's yesterday, 240 @ 13.5psi, 255 @ 15.5psi & 265 @ 19.5psi.

thats not bad, not bad at all! what kind of setup are u running in the R31? last tune i had (will not mention by who :domokun: ) was dissapointing and only reached 250rwkw @15psi . I know it is capable of more with the existing mods but was given more excuses yet again, so thats why i was waiting for Dr. Drift to come down, i didnt think he was coming till the end of the month? suppose i have missed him again???.......!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in Melb at the moment. Not much in the way of mods, TD06 and that's about it. Rb25 doesn't even have VCT.

He will be in launceston in a couple of weeks.

oh and to update for my car. i have dropped off my re-designed cooler piping to a profered workshop to be welded up wich should save on lost time with blown cooler piping again.

i am very happy with the new setup. hi compression turbo for the win. while it lasts anyway.

got the seats in, spacers on and ps pump changed today. car is now going again.

all that is left is pod filter, mount battery, modify cooler piping, longer studs up front and fit speedo sender. (oh and chase a rattle in the rear that is shitting me!)

then it is ready to put on the market properly! actually starting to be quite a nice car, might even change my mind and keep it for a little while.

here are a few pics of the car

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
