Clutch Mishaps

I had owned my 33 for 2 weeks before my stock clutch gave way. So i then put a brass button in.... $1200 later it felt quite tight and nice....2 hours later i was being towed home as it had melted to the flywheel..... i hadn't done any burnouts or even launched at all that nite.... was really pist to say the least!!!!

They didn't even replace it under a warranty...." No warranty as it is a racing speac clutch!!!"

Now i run a Daiken Heavy Duty.... Quite nice actually recommended...although i will never go back to where i got the brass button from.....not mentioning names.... :(

it was a custom madeclutch from QLD...Apparently why so expensive...my mate put exact same one in his 350Kw (about..) gtr r33 and has no probs....apparently they didnt align it properly..causing friction making the fibre red hot and welding it to the flywheel :)
