holy moly!

give anyone here 120k for a car and you'll find a 34GTR in their driveway.

Either that or THREE R33GTR's!!!

OR SIX!! GTR32's! bwahaha

maybe we need a thread titled "what id do with 120k" :)

personally id go all out on a 33GTR for street, add all the fruit, plus a 32GTR track rat. ahhhh....

what was this thread about again? :D

If you have enough coil to spend 120K on a second car why oh why did you waste ur time building a fake R34 GTR when u could have got 1 for far less than 120K???

Gordo a Type R badge would be better than just a civic one :)

Looks really good!

But.....i agree with everyone that says the GTR badges don't belong there, because its not a GTR. I mean, i know people that are like "I beat a GTR the other day" in their VL Turbos.......

Still, not as bad as badging the car without any conversions.....

Nice job overall......personally I'd sell it an buy a GTR, but I can understand if you're attached.

also I brought a 99 NSX 8 months ago and am broke due to Payments on that
Becase I wanted a nsx also

THey are my two fav cars

So you own your 2 favorite cars and you have a loan?

I thought I had a problem with wasting money on cars. Atleast I own my car (not bagging you just think its a little silly to own 2 expensive cars and have a loan for them).

Greg

exactly!

btw there's no shame about being beaten by a VL turbo these days, there are so many friggin quick ones, and autos very easy to launch. And anyway they are still using the same basic NISSAN powerplant! So its not exactly being beaten by holden, even if the dude in the VL thinks it is :D

True, but still.

VL Turbos shouldn't be beating so called "GTRs" <_<

Fcuk man, im with Greg^^^^^^^A loan for these two cars is crazy!!

Take the GTR badges off too! It will never be a GTR; i'd be soooo uneasy driving around with that number plate too.

Why do you want to make it into a GTR? Find a bit of individuality and develop a car thats customised to your taste and needs. Ive got a GTR engine in my GTST but id never want to make people think its a genuine GTR.

I own the gtr out right, and the price on the nsx is going up due to them not making them anymore, mine was one of the last with the pop up head lights, so what I have a loan on one car, I own more the 60% of the nsx.. Thats all I wanted an nsx and an r34

Nice cars,

I've been thinking nsx for my next car....as for the badging and finance I'm with the mob, do you really think the nsx wont depreciate? There are not many late model cars that don't. Appreciation in cars usually comes with age and rarity unless it's a noted race car or extremely rare. I'm not saying you'll do your $$ but I doubt it'll be worth more in 2-4yrs time than what you paid for it today.

But I may be wrong...

Still must be a shit load of fun to drive.

/edit

*yep I'm jealous...damn that nsx is hawt!!

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
