Gb: R33 Gts-t And Gtr And R34 Gtt Radiator Guides

Recommended Posts

Okay.

Just gave the guys next door a slab of Carlton Draught to fix up the R33 GTS-T guides.

SO. All of everything is now done.

Unfortunately I have to be on a plane at 6:10am tomorrow morning to go to Newcastle for a day, so I wont be able to get any out tomorrow.

I will take the anoising guides to the Anodisers on Thursday and I should have them back early next week.

I will get some guides out this week, and some out next week.

I'm happy that they are all now finished!!!!

I'll let you know who's had gone as they go.

I hope your being sarcastic.

Cos i know i'm pissed that he is taking the time to do this for us with next to no profit as far as i know. You could always buy one of these from eastbear i think for about 300 bucks, OR you could shutup and deal with it.

its a big responsibility for him to organise this for so many ppl, so i appreciate it very much, i know i oculdnt be bothered to do somethin on such a large scale hehe

ben...

Okay,

What the air guide does is stops the air from going through your grill and up over the top of your radiator.

It forces air through the radiator and increases the cooling capacity of your radiator.

Also, it looks cool and gives you somewhere to put stickers.

is this an gtr ?

Dudes,

I just had a HOOOGE win.

One of the rollformed profiles we are working on at work is the perfect size for the protection of your guides during transport!

I was thinking that I was going to need to cut and bend up a shitload of sheetmetal myself to pack them for shipping, but as luck would have it, I now don't need to.

What was going to take me about 6 hours will now take me about 2

TOPS

I reckon I could have most of them shipped tomorrow morning!

PS. Each person gets free with their purchase, a section of Metal Fascic for your house. Although the bits are in various states of tune. I wouldn't try to fit them to your house!

The rest of you who have paid, and are not on this list, you either are waiting for Anodising, or you have something other than an R33.

The R34 guides are going to be packed tonight.

Somehow.

The rest of you who have paid, and are not on this list, you either are waiting for Anodising, or you have something other than an R33.

Hopefully i'll get to the meeting to grab it off you, otherwise ill grab it at DECA

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
