put your money back in your pocket with the high flow cat, it is as they say an oxymoron. Mine is not a high flow and I saved a few $$ I only replaced my stock one cause it was knackered and I broke the flange bolts off it doing the gearbox/clutch reinstall.

What did people pay for their front pipe + dump pipe ?

The only price ive been able to get so far (confirmed it will fit on my R33 GTS-T) is $350 + $350 for a 'mines copy' from www.japanesemotorsport.com.au

That seems alittle pricey for me. It would be atleast $800 just for it all up Ouch!

Custom Exhausts is in Ozzy Park. They installed my extractors on my old car and made an absolutely stunning stainless mandrel system on my mates integra. Was a few years back though, i presume theyre under the same management.

Or you could go Speedworks in Carbon Ct. But theyre quite busy at the moment and might not have the time for custom exhaust jobs.

If you wanna go the whole hog and get the dump pipe as well, id go for something japanese. I priced a HKS one up the other day that was only $75 more expensive than i was quote for a local custom job.

Remember, 70 yen to the dollar is your friend :P

I have the Cat back and front pipe on my car, i'm looking for a dump pipe in the near future..

I'm still with standard cat also.

I've heard that not having a high-flow cat can limit the amount of boost you can run with a bleed valve??

ie. My mate got a turbosmart boost controller on his 180, and they said he needed a high-flo cat to get a full 12psi, as it's peaking at 12, then dropping to 10psi ?

Any truth in this ?

Could explain why my "home-made" jobbie that gave troy 10psi, isn't working on my car (still at 7psi)

I'm getting my high flow cat and 3" dump pipe done at MagicTune in Cannington. $520 for both, stainless steel, mandrel bends. I got a quote from a guy next door to Extreme machines, which was $500. He said he would do one pipe instead of two. I'm getting way out of my depth here, all too technical, but I went with the first quote because they are closer to home.

    • The incentives are mostly the same, yes. Ethanol is cheap compared to the cost of doing 98-100 RON with crude oil alone. 87 to 93-94 AKI all with E10. In 2020 Canada mandated E10 as a part of their "renewable fuel standard" and is supposedly going to go to E15 in 2030. In California where there are only 8 refineries with two threatening to shut down next year it's been over 20 years now of E10 and 91 AKI maximum because there's just not enough refinery capacity or crude oil supply relative to the demand for premium unleaded fuel. And CARB's low carbon fuel standard means functionally none of the diesel available at the pump is made from crude oil anymore. It's almost all entirely 20% biodiesel blended with 80% renewable diesel (hydrotreated vegetable oil) now. The number of gasoline vehicles that support E15 or higher ethanol concentrations is surprisingly low, I can't imagine it being wise to play tricks like this without flex fuel sensors in most of the fleet.

    • South Australia, which is hardly as far behind as the rest pf Oz makes out, and who is also not a paragon of progressiveness (read that as over-legislation) in the area of vehicle standards, has this to say on the subject: Adjustable coil-over suspension Aftermarket adjustable coil-over suspension components are suspension units that incorporate an external thread on the main body and corresponding threaded spring saddle that allows the vehicle's suspension height to be varied. If fitting aftermarket or coil-over suspension components you must submit an Application to modify a light motor vehicle form and a report from a light vehicle engineering signatory (LVES).
    • Hi all, Long time since I've posted here. Looking for some advice on what I can remove to further identify the cause of my issues.  I can move the passenger seat forward and back but the knob used to adjust the seat angle is pretty much free spinning, there's very little resistance.  Removing the side cover I can see that the chain is intact but the shaft for the adjustment spins without the gear attached to it moving.  What's my next step for disassembly here? Is this a common fault? Just being a little cautious as I didn't want to start removing bolts for a spring to fly out or something equally as stupid.  Cheers
