  1. Exactly, it's the right thing to do. Too many dishonourable people around these days.
  2. Biggest fine I had was $500-odd for doing 42 at the back end of hindmarsh - really, really stupid. Was only 18yo at the time... had one <15 (which was a crock - but easier to wear it) the year after and nothing since *touch wood*.
  3. Loving the pics ya'll. Tidy cars all round.
  4. Very cool video.
  5. Very, very nice. Any more pics? Rims look awesome. Nice choice of colour peoples!
  6. Love the pics ookami. Yours looks sweet. So mint!
  7. Considering I just bought I would like to hope with you too, but the reality isn't quite that I don't think.
  8. They all look sweet. Keep em coming people!
  9. I had a 180rwkW 1050kg S2 RX7 when I was 18. Those were the days.
  10. Interesting the conflicting views on where cars need to go. Even if you ring them you may not get the right answer. I'm simply going to take mine to a garage and see if they will inspect it. It has an Aussie plate on it, an Aussie VIN and is completely standard.
  11. Is it driven regularly? Or had it been previously?
  12. Give them a call perhaps?
  13. Good points 700hp-R33. Fingers crossed this one is a revolution in price/performance just as the R32 was. The R33/34 were evolutions of this and are legendary regardless, but history awards the R32 for standing out. Hopefully the new car can continue the legacy. And I hope it's 4WD. And I hope it's TT 6 cylinder (inline is not realistic unfortunately). Main point, I hope it eats $350k Porches (not to mention other cars) for breakfast for half the price.
  14. Oh. My. God. Lucky bastard. Z Tune is my dream car. Awesome. Wishing I had a LOT of money right now. The ultimate Japanese car.
  15. I guess an example of an inflated price compared to similar imported cars is the FD RX7. Since only private imports are available and no others, prices for these cars are relatively high. Which is why there are so many private imports, paying $6k for a car and bringing it to Australia where it can be worth near $30k (not that much anymore) is quite appealing.
  16. Spotted: A black R32 GTST on Bunda St in Civic at lunch time. Calsonic blue R32 with R33 GTR rims and the plates indicating engine code again this evening, parked in a surburban street on a nature strip. A white R33 GTST, had massive nismo sticker on the rear window, chromies and quite a nice sounding exhaust. Was being driven awefully quick through Civic and changed lanes infront of me without indicating.
  17. I have heard far too many similar stories of similarly dishonourable people, how they live with themselves after completely dogging a mate is beyond me.
  18. Not a good feeling! Such a waste of money, and they are often on Limestone... you must have been in a rush! Except I'll bet you were later in the end than you would have been had you not been pulled over...
  19. I'll check the fuse box in the boot now I guess! Interesting that the holders/clips are missing altogether, very stupid that they weren't at least returned to their spot without a bulb. Thanks for all your help with this Andrew. Much appreciated!
  20. Some pics of a very rare (1 of a kind in this colour) R33 here: http://www.blowdog.com/html/cars/400r.html
  21. Least you both are OK! That's the main thing. Have to agree with the others, that doesn't look economical to repair. Hope you have insurance or I hope your mate is good for the cash...
  22. Not sure. I found them on a website, not sure if that includes delivery. Or warranty. Looks up the bulb type in google and you'll come up with something. Anyone have any ideas for my problems...?
  23. In the mean time I'll happily drive the models that are a generation older when it comes to GTRs. So I'll look forward to buying an R34 when the new one comes out.
  24. Xenon bulbs are good now thanks to ferni. Cheers Andrew. Problems ( ): 1. I am missing parkers altogether! Who the hell removes them?! So I need bulbs and the holders to clip into the factory power lines. Does anyone know what holders are the same? Do any other Nissan models, for example, have the same holders? Need them for both sides so I don't even have something to go on. 2. Low voltage power for driver's side head lamp is not getting to the relay at all. It is definitely that as running high voltage straight through flickered the low beams. I have checked fuses in the engine bay and under the dash (only what appeared to be 'battery' ones - 7 of them). Does anyone know where I can get a fuse box layout diagram in english? Or is there any other fuses at all?
  25. Holden and Ford's have always been somewhat similar, it is inevitable as they are competitors in the same market! The BA was the car Ford should have released (exterior styling wise definitely) when they released the AU.
