A 2.5 na in a heavy car would suck balls. I they are slow when turbo and stock.
A turbo conversion is a waste of time when yu can just buy a turbo one.
I reckon it will be fixed.
Mat from nistune hit a car that pulled out from a side road, damage looked very similar. That was fixed, and he had a front mount that was smooshed also, having said that it wasn't his fault so that might come into play.
Factory ecu's which use thermo fans automatically raise the iac valve pulses to ensure a smooth idle when the fans turn in.
You don't have that.
I can suggest nothing, except put stock fan back on.
