  1. Just a quick thanks to our Volunteers who officiated throughout the day, Mick from Micolour for sponsoring the event as well as Adz and the rest of the chefs on the BBQ. It was great to see so many new faces, so many 1st timers makes it feel like one of the original decas. 12 weeks till the next one, conveniently placed one week before Dutton. As for the night... Do you believe i gave birth 5 weeks ago? That is your ultimate Shep pick up line...
  2. you would be better with standard or 'street' brakes imo, good brakes that you would use for the track require hi temps for them to work properly. Nothing gets up to temp in a 60second run.
  3. There is a chance that we will be organising an SAU HH. keep an eye out. There is another HH round in the SAU championship, it is aug 22. this is run by the WRX club.
  4. ba bow. wrong thread.
  5. Thanks mate, bring lil blue next time
  6. its all good, i have Deans forms.
  7. hehe, there is no fast or slow group people and there are heaps of 1st timers so dont stress. Its all just a bit of fun!
  8. Dont worry, we will put you in Chris's group.
  9. i didnt think id ever see a thread on SAU needing help choosing between a skyline and a jazz. put an external gate on the skyline. problem solved.
  10. heh, one day.. to many other track days on at the moment.
  11. there was a few of us at the one on saturday, which one you talking about?
  12. Damian at Grafico. grafico.net.au he does all the stickers for the supercarclub (p1) and did all our Dutton Stickers and the 6 hour stickers. His stuff is quality.
  13. na mate, can never be bothered but always wished i did after..
  14. ill try to drop in.. does the $40 mean you will tune my car too? hehe. i want to see the bbq trailer on the dyno...
  15. yay team 180. the new setup is much better suited to HH than i thought it would be. still not coming on to full boost till 4500, but that seems to work ok around that track. certianly made for a much scetchier run.. its funny how a total of 8 minutes competitve driving for a whole day is still so much fun. another stand out time is Mark Firman in the 180b. that thing has 70kw and did a 101.84. From Sau that puts him 4th outright. so i guess you can still say 180 represent..
  16. if people are looking for a place to meet on the sat there is the new BP's about 15 mins past the donnybrook shell. has maccas and kfc..
  17. (the timing is a little weird. if people got a 9th run there will be a second line with that time). Sweet day, such a fun track and the rex guys ran it well. thanks to all the officials also. good work with the vids and pics. i was also reminded of a certian gracious winner from the last deca, so will take this time to ask everyone who beat thomson put their hand up. cannot wait till the island!
  18. entered. thomson, you sound like bris... let me know when you are going to do it... im always looking the other way see you all down there.
  19. You are welcome to post this up on aus300zx.
  20. this is legal for track. use nuts and bolts, not self tappers. the only place you can put it where you will reach it with a harness is on your centre console. putting it under your seat makes getting to the back very hard.
  21. the way i see it 4 or 5 bottles of wine is easily the same cost as entry... so i think ill be entering then. any grass eaters coming?
  22. strangely enough, i tried to use thomsons 33gtr rims for the 6 hour and they hit the struts on the 180 bad. +30 offset i believe.
  23. superleg to the head
  24. damn french wheel drives are usually pretty quick too..
