IF you decide to go for N1 Turbo's make sure you get the R34 N1's and not the 32. the R34 N1 Turbo's are ball bearing

8-10k is a very decent budget you'll be fine

don't budget for the bare minimum as you WILL get caught out... time after time have we seen engines that have alot more wrong with them then first suspected. Alot of time it's a pandora's box so make sure you have plenty of money for the unexpected....

get it up on a hoist and check the exhaust for the source of the leak, look at all the flanges and see if any bolts may have come loose causing the 2 pipes to come apart a little and hence leak. if it's leaking at one of the flanges then reaplce the gasket and put it back together. otherwise if it's something else like a hole in the system or a crack somewhere then you'll need to replace it. if you want to replace the turbo gasket that'll involve a little more work and yeh you'll have to get a new gasket from Nissan... I'd also reccomend getting new studs and nuts if your going to pull the turbo off and put it back on.

places in Manly/Harboard/Dee Why on the northern beaches are going for 350 upwards for a nice 2 bedroom apartment. The Northern Beaches are a fantastic place to live. fairly laid back lifestyle, beaches close by and a generally safe area. Bus to the city would be around 45 mins I would think or if you live in Manly you can get the ferry across to the city. wouldn't be a bad way to get to work each day
