  1. if it is a push type, it will not fit an R33 series 2 Nozila. if it is indeed a push type for a R32gtst I will take it if nozila doesn't want it. cheers.
  2. I would love to go the 3 litre. and if the rb20 should die i will be doing a rb25/30 budget build. you will dfinatly feel the difference. mainly the torque as soon as you put your foot down even at low revs.
  3. except the x force ones flow not much better than what you already have. Metal cat are the best on the market. get one of them you won't be sorry. don't go a cheapie
  4. I have never heard horror stories like this. I would be calling the bastards every single day saying WHERE IS MY CAR>>>>>> I had to wait 3 weeks to get my old car fixed and I thought that was bad enough, be more demanding.
  5. metalcat 3" cat. stainless outsite, stainless inside! no ceramic rubbish! $280. form the group buy section but you need to flanges put on it or order one with the correct flanges mine performs like I have no restriction in the exhaust at all.
  6. wright him a letter of demand, state the date the car was delivered, the date the car was sceduled to be repaired and the ammount paid for the repairs. state the times you contacted him and what was said. Once you have sent the letter follow it up with a phonecall. if nothing is done and no attempt to finish the job is made call consumer affairs. 6 months is rediculous. send the letter right away.
  7. Hey all, just got home to be reminded that personal tax returns are due tomorrow!!! crap! up all night doing paperwork..... nothing fun here just don't want anyone to get fined for a late return. Cheers! flame me if u like... just a freindly reminder
  8. you can actually replace the injectors without removing the TB or the top half of the plenum. once the fuel rail bolts are out you lift and slide the whole assembly forward. the hardest thing to do is get to the clips on injector #4 & #5. I am about to replace the injectors and this time will remove the TB as i think it will be easier.
  9. no. they will not idle on a stock comp as you will be delivering double the fuel (270 vs 550) after the injectors have been fitted and the K value has changed. The stock settings are as follows: K Value: 0101 injector lag time: 4C The settings for 550CC are as follows K Value: 007E injector lag time: 5F you will then need to change the timing and fuel TP scales so they read the correct part of the map.
  10. Ewwww! the 1kg steak. I have done it before it is not a pretty site. all bran for the next 15 meals...
  11. Yeah was good to meet some SAU people. pizza was goood too it was also gool to see 13 skylines in a row. When I got back to the cars thare was a dude taking photos. I still think we need name tags. you might feel ghey but at least you get to remember who you are talking to.
  12. on cold start at closed loop sections of the fuel map the car will run with out an AFM untill 1350 rpm on an RB20 as soon as cold start cuts out it will not run at all.
  13. hehe I am that black R32 gtst you gtr is hot... and yeah Skylines Australia Centrelink or SAC for short hehe. There is also a maroon R33 gtst with wa plates and a white R33 in te same car park.
  14. hahaha! GOLD!!! next time he should get his turbo shipped overnight from japan... and a motec exhaust.
  15. What do you want to know about the injectors? are you tuning another ecu to run the RB20? PM me what you need to know and I will pm you back BTW get the GTR off it
  16. I have had a bad experience with them. nothing to do with tuning but I would have to say I will not be going there again.
  17. I am keen for the parking too
  18. Hi Mearcat. I am in the process of desigining a cost affective water spray kit for the inter cooler and was just going to activate it with a hobbs switch and temp sensor just before the TB. I would suggest the best place to put the temp sensor would be before the TB. it will give you a better reading of what is going into the engine. The only dis advantage will be you loose the ability to measure heatsoak. Seeming as it is a FMIC heat soad should be minimal So Will you be using AFM load between say 1 and 5 volts as a trigger? That's a good idea.
  19. Speak to slide on these forums. he can hiflow your existing turbo for around $800. for this you get brand new compressor and turbine wheels new CHRA and bored out compressor and turbine housings. it will flow enough for 250rwkw. I am getting one done right now and will have it in about a week. I will keep all posted on the results. it is on an RB20 so I will have to settle with 220rwkw bit is should be a screamer.
  20. yep later is fine 8:30 is good.
  21. We need to hire "Mr T" to look after 30 skylines. and give him a pair of pitbulls. will it be dodgey parking 20+ skylines in Dickson?
  22. I think slide is a champ and have had nothing but praise for him, I just ordered a turb from him and have complete confidence in it. I think it bight be a good idea not to air your dirty laundry in public perhaps we should all just leave it between slide and the other party and not comment on it at all. I'm sure they can sort it out with out our keyboard jockey skillz...
  23. Heya all, Put my name down too I will be there. cheers!
  24. I cant wait to see a few of these on the roads. I really wanted one 6 months ago and almost imported one. very cool cars. I would be really keen to go for a ride in one and see how they go.
  25. I have been wondering this lately. What does everyones cars read? What is a good healthy pressure to be running?
