  1. Yes, but I'm sure repeat offenders would be treated differently to the once-off offender. And its probably on a per state basis, for example Victoria may not take care of the transfer of points if you get fined in QLD or something, old legacy government systems that are probably not linked together. I'm sure if you got caught multiple times in a particular timeframe there might be an issue there
  2. He might be doing some track work and wanting some consistency there, Hicas isn't always your friend...
  3. Ok moved to an ebay auction going super cheap as a parts car. Great running condition, I'm an honest seller so I've listed the known issues on the ad. Any questions just PM me and I'll reply as soon as possible
  4. Change of price, moving to R31 SkylineClub here as its the more appropriate forum for this.
  5. Can't see from the pic, it looks a little like the rear fog light switch on the series 3 R33's, but that is below the steering wheel column, maybe there were fog lights on it once....

  8. Tyres replaced approx 6months ago, air conditioning has been re-gassed. There is a bit of work to be done on the car, paintwork is a bit rough, will get pics up tomorrow. Open to offers for a non-roadworthy/no plates vehicle, I can easily remove $400 from the price without rego/plates....

  10. Can you put me down as a maybe...
  11. Send a letter now then, I hate to tell you but the situation won't magically improve itself so you need to take action... EDIT: a lawyer may work but will probably cost you a lot more than a few fines, and if your talking legal aid they may simply assist you in writing a letter or refuse to help...
  12. Haha, also be warned about there trader ratings, some have had issues with certain traders on there who have great reputations. Oh, the Fitness diet and bodybuilding section is excellent, there technical info is second to none !
  13. Edit found this German Castrol FAQ on BITOG its actually closer to a 40 than a 30
  14. Also subscribed to bitog, Castrol Edge is supposed to be group IV and pretty cheap if it is. I keep finding old results on google about it and not anything current.
  15. Oh, I've read that the newer Castrol edge is group 4 in USA. I think its the same in Aus, but haven't tried it personally, anyone used it?
  16. Paypal provides insurance, I recommend pickup or paypal with anything worth serious $$$. Although buying online always has its risks My last paypal claim took 3-4weeks but I got the money back eventually, perfect feedback, low feedback, and I had the persons fullname and phone number (you can request it through ebay) it was no help.
  17. Also check the Commodore/VL forums, plenty of RB30's there too There are quite a few freighting companies around, it won't be too cheap to get it but call around and see...
  18. Your changing every 3000km/s? With the filter? I don't agree with that, see the General Maintenance Oil thread sticky. Furthermore, if your changing every 3K, most fully synthetic oil additives probably won't have started to take effect after a few thousand km/s, the oil filter will be just getting better and then you change it again Anyway, you could probably get away with a non-fully synthetic if your changing that often...I don't recommend mineral oil though, get a fully synthetic of some kind. performancelub.com has the higher quality items for a cheaper price, have a chat to Harold if you want them. But $14/litre will still be expensive if your changing every 3K of street driving. Oh, ~4litres for an RB26, pretty sure the others are similar, that does not include oil coolers...
  19. So you've been chatting to Harold too? I was previously using German Castrol 0w30 in an RB26, on a track day (only 4-5 hot laps at a time!) and a cold day, oil temperature just got to 90 degrees celsius at Sandown. EDIT: This is group IV or V, not to be confused with Australian Castrol (cannot confirm if its group III or IV or ...) Royal Purple is apparently, a group IV / II blend or is it V + II (?) anyway bobistheoilguy (forums) have a big debate about if its good or not, Amsoil was not recommended as that great either, but often recommended over Mobil1 and Royal Purple. However, the only thing those guys seem to consider "good" is Redline oil (good for track, pretty average for street apparently) and other very high end oils. Personally I'm using Amsoil 10w40 next change because I want something with a higher viscosity due to possibly doing a spring/summer track day
  20. 17psi sounds like a risk, I run 1bar or 14.7psi and its risky. The ceramic wheels degrade due to heat, just be careful how hard you push it, you should be fine but if it goes.....you risk the engine too....
  21. Plug in Power FC -> Etc -> Sensor check or something similar. Use left/right buttons to do this on the controller from memory. Or search for the PowerFC FAQ....
  22. The front page has some spelling mistakes and nearly zero information. What have you bought off him? I occasionally need to source things from Japan and a good supplier would be nice....
  23. There specialist mechanics Been to a specialist doctor recently? Or a private one? 1hour ~ $120 for doctor 1hour ~ $200-300+ on initial appointment with a specalist. lol Seriously, its not a quick job, and its expensive, I want to upgrade my turbo's but after you do don't forget to factor in the re-tune!
  24. See sticky in Vic section on performance shops, above has a few of them in SE area
