  1. Did the cow have insurance? Then a un-insured 3rd party driver claim (exists with AAMI) may save you, lol. Only problem is you need it in writing that the other motorist did not have insurance.... Seriously, ask your insurance, and the driver of the truck the cow fell off, I assume you got there details. And create a new thread
  2. Ok, here's one thing I'm not getting in these MPH vs RWKW argument, not saying you guys don't know what your talking about, I would just like to understand what your talking about How does the MPH in the quarter mile compare to the RWKW (or AWKW) figure? Is that what your comparing? Or are you looking at the MPH on the dyno? I mean, if you got a really bad launch then wouldn't you not reach the same MPH?
  3. Great thread, the only place I found to have the correct wiring harness was Autobahn, Repco was out of stock and Supercheap auto don't have them in any store in Vic for the R33. It was about $28 for harness and radio connection adapter.
  4. Bass Junky use to sell them for about $80 in Vic, not sure if he's still making them.
  5. Great for performance but bad for the environment and a huge fine if you get busted with it in Vic! And I mean huge... Then why does a gutted cat allow less restriction and therefore more HP? (either that or a lot of people lie about the HP increase ) I'm sure people have advised me that it can increase HP even on cars that are not running massive HP.
  6. Thats Blitz_R33, offer considered and not accepted, there is someone who had interest in the rear's only so if anyone wants to make an offer on the fronts only I can separate (only if I have buyers for both front/back)
  7. I was asking the same question but got very few responses so far, have look at: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...ze-t205528.html Does anyone know why the catco cats are so much more expensive then X-force? Its nearly double the price (although it does flow more).
  8. So no more comments about the cat's? Is it worth the extra $$$ for the Catco cats compared to the Just Jap X-force cat?
  9. Hey mate, Yes, I borrowed your pictures because the camera was charging when I put the pics up and it still looks the same. I bought the struts to get through compliance, after compliance I sandblasted the old springs, and put them back on the car. So I now have some R34 GTR struts that need to go Regards, Gareth
  10. Still for sale. All reasonable offers considered.
  11. Next time you start a thread please put some more info there. How old are you? I'm going to just assume your under 25 with a GTR , like myself. When I went looking for insurance, the only companies that really wanted to talk to me were Just Cars and GIO Customs, anyone else said over 25, or over 30 for GTR's. Others were considering it but required the car to be not visible from the street. I have an excellent driving record, this has paid off and I have an excellent premium, if everyone starts doing racing on the track only (nothing stupid on the street) then our premiums would be less
  12. Hi, I bought this for my R31 but have finally found a bonnet in the golden colour of my car So this ones for sale, cost about $70 from a wrecker if you remove it yourself. Price: $50. I'll have some pictures up tomorrow, South Eastern suburbs. The picture isn't perfect but tell me if you need more than one picture. Regards, Gareth
  13. Offers been accepted, PM me if your interested.
  14. Hmm, interesting, I'm not sure if my front pipes are standard or not. I wonder if anyone has done a before and after run after changing the cat...
  15. paypal accepted, although considering he's more like a charity-type organisation I think I might donate. Thanks for the serious replies, I guess I won't be using them at DECA Oh, ylwgtr2 I think this thread needs you: Who Thinks Non-gtr Owners Should Very Nicely Shut Up About How/what Gtr's Are Actually Like To Own And Drive. Mmmkay? But, Supra Owners Own All!, SUPRA POWA ! ! ! !
  16. Hey, I don't think the compliance cat is high-flowed. If it does make a fair bit of difference I'd change the cat, how much difference are we talking about? And the larger the cat the more the flow, but will there be any noticeable difference between a cat that flows 570CFM and 706CFM? I mean I'm not changing the turbo's anytime soon, just aiming to get cat + powerfc + tune. Regards, Gareth
  17. I'm not actually sure how to install a boss kit, I assume you just bolt it on Do you have a R33 GTR? If not then I don't think this will fit. I am now accepting serious offers for this...anyone?
  18. Or would it be smarter to save some $$$ and not buy a new cat? Compliance cats today are usually 3 inch, does it make a difference if I go for a larger cat?
  19. Has anyone had a look at the discussion at the 5w40 Fuchs Synthetic Oil discussion on this forum. Any opinions?
  20. On a GTR? The R31 just won't fit tyres this large I actually might keep it for Deca, that would be a lot of fun and I can save my normal tyres. I'll get to Deca eventually probably later this year. Thanks for the advice
  21. Hahaha, how about you pay me some $$$, buy them and you can do whatever you like with them Pics attached they are Yokahoma Iceguard and they are 245mm wide. Might be a good idea, I don't have enough rating to post in the for sale section yet but I'll see what I can do
  22. Price drop $550. Does anyone know a compliance workshop that need some R34 struts ?
