  1. Awesome cruise. Thanks to everyone who organised and to those who showed up. It was an awesome route. Had a bit of everything. Even my mrs loved it. It was spectacular driving through the rolling hills with the moon as a backdrop and then watching an airliner descend over you while nailing the throttle and listening to rb's scream. Pure awesome.
  2. On the way. Should be there by 8:15 hopefully.
  3. Cmon mate, stop giving nonsense advice. 3 bar at least[emoji33]
  4. Just rock up to the location. Introduce yourself, if your not a member make a gold coin donation and your in business.
  5. This still going ahead? Is 8pm take off time or meet up time?
  6. Is that owned by a mate of yours hadouken? Nice front bar BTW[emoji6]
  7. I believe that is only if the ambulance service is called in a takes someone to hospital. Something like that in Victoria anyway.
  8. if that's the case just leave it as is. No point in wasting $80 on oil if your getting another box in a few weeks. Cant find em, grind em. When you get your new box, just run conventional gear box oil, not shockproof.
  9. EBay. Around $20 a bottle. U will need 4. Depending where u live u may be able to pick up. Alternatively you can get tubes of nulon smooth shift that johnny suggested from supercheapshit auto. Why does it only have to last a few weeks?
  10. Too much awesome in this thread. Good work. Tuned in for dyno resul. Hope you blitz what your aiming for.
  11. G clamp. Leave 1 pad in and use clamp to compress 2 pistons, then put the pad on the 2 pistons in the other side of caliper and repeat. Done.
  12. The op's box is already grinding. If the shockproof stops it then it would be a win for him.
  13. Try changing the oil in it with redline lightweight shockproof first. You'll need 3.5 litres. It may or may not make your problems go away.
  14. I hear you. Cops take the side of the crime these days. Friends of mine have used those no win no fee lyers before and I'm pretty sure the fee in the end was 15-20% of the settlement. Good luck with it all.
  15. Add to that loss of income for however long it is. Up to you but I think it would be worthwhile talking to an independent lawyer and getting a professional opinion. You will then know where you stand.
  16. I would be going to see one of those lawyer mobs like slater and Gordon, Maurice Blackburn etc. No win no fee. If they don't think you are entitled to any compensation they will let you know. I believe you will be entitled to a reasonable amount especially if you do end up losing your job. Definitely worth a try. Your injuries aren't what I would consider minor. At this stage you don't really know exactly how long it will take for your injuries to heal 100% and for you to be pain free.
  17. Am I on the right track with, um maybe I shouldn't of removed that air bag[emoji85]
  18. Good son of rajab. It looks like you're lucky to be here telling the story. Hope you recover well and in good time.
  19. Consider yourself lucky that at least the car seems to have turned out to be decent and giving you some joy. I guess there has been a lesson in all of this for you and you didn't get severely burnt in the learning process. Unfortunately most used car dealers are pretty dodgy, more so in the import world. In future when buying a used car buy on condition only and not on what some unscrupulous low life punk salesman is bull shitting you with. Best of luck and hope the car serves you well. What car is it by the way?
