  1. Not 11", +11. The specified sizes from RS-Watanabe for the DR30 are as follows (wheel type, size, offset): F: F8 15-70+21 R: F8S 15-70+15 Based on that info, you should be right, or VERY close to right.... I'll be running 16x7.0" & 16x7.5" F8's on my DR30 when I can affor tyres....
  2. Close.... Grab a copy of the entire EL section of the MR workshop manual from my webby: http://www.versadev.com/ben/el.zip But go easy on the love.
  3. Interesting.... And the reason I say that is in the Nismo catalogue the 260RS pump is listed as the same as the BNR32 (not BNCR33). Is the tank different, or???? I was considering the R32 pump in my car as a first choice, but it seems that matters may be slightly complicated.
  4. Any chance of some before & after intake temperature measurements?
  5. As far as the OEM stereo CD attitude is concerned, the dealership that i bought my car from had the stereo disassembled & cleaned, as it's apparently very common for salt crystals to form on the laser lens during shipping from Japan. A decent cleanup with some CO2 spray might be all the stock unit needs to 'sort it'. My factory stereo plays every CD I've thown at it.
  6. 5L of fully synthetic, same quantity as my L28ET & FJ20ET (but different viscosity).
  7. Lets try & find out which model Bosch it is - we're all going to need new alt's eventually....
  8. At least it has round tail-lights....sort of. Do you know if they're still considering the atmo V8 for the yank market? Last concept info I read was a TT V6 for everyone except the USA.
  9. No, not that I know of. I managed to find an alt with the same body, but had to swap over the cooling fan & pulley. I don't know what this alt was from. If yours needs rebuilding I recommend Hampstead Auto Electrical on Muller Rd. They'll actually bother to get it re-wound if it needs it, whereas most places will just tell you it's knackered & buy a new one - even if it is only the diode pack.
  10. Likewise, and the factory double-DIN single CD/tape/tuner has got a lot of punch (120W PMPO). Even though the door speakers are dual-cones, they still produce a pretty good sound. I'm staring at my old JVC 12-Stacker & V12 amp pondering the fitment of them & my Philips sub to my car....
  11. Terminal - Yes, you did post earlier (my bad). I found a couple of 3mm & 4mm globes in the Jaycar catalogue. I expect that they are the ones in question - about 80c each.
  12. Ouchy - mine's only $1000....
  13. 25GTT = NEO RB25DET MT.F5 = Manual Trans, floorshift, 5-speed
  14. Insurance people, don't forget your insurance....
  15. The globes in the Climate Control module have been so-far impossible to find in the aftermarket (spent most of today searching at DSE, Jaycar, Repco, and Jaustech). I believe that they are around $10 each new, but that may be the only option at this stage....
  16. I have just had a Viper alarm fitted to my C34. It was reported that the wiring was 'the same as an R33' . So based on that it shouldn't be too hard to determine the factory wiring for an alarm. It looks like the Series 1 cars really are a '33.5' setup - not quite R33, not quite R34.
  17. Give us the numbers - but make sure you're using the Nissan Model number, not the Aussie VIN.
  18. Just a quick note - one of the G sensors (the rearmost one) is for the SRS system, not the ATTESSA-ETS
  19. The bulbs are fitted via the top & bottom of the climate control unit. The unit must be removed from the centre frame in order to access the lower bulbs. No major disassembly is required.
  20. Thanks to the photo's I've now pulled the interior of my car apart & had a good look around.... Yes it is a diversity antenna setup, and yes the soldering on mine where they'd attached the thick coax to one of the window antennas was crap (as was the dodgy scotchlock on the power feed to the expander). I'm going to get is all re-done on Monday when the alarm is fitted. You might be able to put a big FM-loop antenna under the rear carpet. Winding count to be calculated during installation
  21. One little snippet of info - I read somewhere that the Stagea doesn't use G-sensors in its ATTESSA-ETS & relies totally on road speed & wheel slip. I believe that this is incorrect - my car has 2 G-sensors located in the usual centre-console position....
  22. Adam, We'll have to compare lightage sometime....
  23. Mine will lock up both wheels at speed. The worm-drive in the calipers tends to get jammed up. Yours may need a rebuild & lube.
  24. Talk about perfect timing!!! Cheers for the shots of the console in pieces - mine copped a few tiny scratches when the converter was fitted & I don't want a repeat when my alarm is fitted on Monday. My radio reception is pretty crap. I don't know whether to put it down to the converter or the fact that the antennas are in the rear side windows..... I also have to replace one of the globes in the climate control unit, as 2 of my buttons no longer light up
  25. Actually - I have the next question myself.... Am I blind, or is there no instrument light dimmer?
