  1. I'd imagine US would have more salt/rust issues, so replacing bits is easier?
  2. I sold the car soon after, but did see if about a year later and it looked new. So far so good I'd say.
  3. Sad to hear about the dog excrements in the ute. Should shoot three of their tyres yee haw.
  4. Back in the day you could get taxi style full size and slimline ones. These days, no chance. You'll have to hit up wreckers to maybe get lucky once a year and find a car with them attached.
  5. sell it to R31 owners. Also I've seen Maximas with same calipers. Never got around to getting a pair from wreckers and test fitting on my old R31.
  6. The projectors in them will be shit. Have you checked aliexpress for similar housings? They might be cheaper. If I were to get those, I'd split the housing and replace the projectors with a good HID one.
  7. Make your own. Need to form/make housing for two seal beam units (low beam and high beam). Or buy cheapo projector units off aliexpress, split apart, replace projectors with proper HID ones, or Koito LED projectors.
  8. Yeah should be. I'm pretty sure the $20 Kenwood/Pioneer one sold in shops are generics, because I bought two for separate installs (one Kenwood and one Pioneer apparently, about a year apart). Both were identical with the same wiring. Worked fine with Sony head units lol.
  9. I haven't bought the gauge holders, but did buy R32 cup holders off him. Was like $40, thought that was reasonable. Did he jack up his prices?
  10. Went back to parent's place to grab more of my crap. The dishwasher is Bosch, so yeah that's 10 years going strong (although hardly used, Asian household lol). As long as the price isn't too high, should be good with Bosch. Very solid build quality. the 1,200 rpm front loader washer lasted for ages being overloaded, mechanically great, electronically not so much, as German things tend to be (BMW owner here hehe).
  11. Don't. You'll say the same thing when the electronics fail and you'll be looking for another brand. I trust LG with this stuff, my old "direct drive" clothes washing machine going hard almost 10 years later (copped many mats and shit being overloaded). Bosch one lasted 5 years before dying without warning. Yes I replaced my parent's washing machine with the LG one (I lived there so might as well). Also had a Bosch dishwasher which randomly died after like 6-7 years, and was replaced with some random brand my dad got (didn't care by then, I was going to move out).
  12. If you're doing 100% street driving, then look at Michelin PS5 (or even PS4S). There's also Goodyear's new tyres Asymmetric 6, which are excellent and on par with PS5. https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre-Tests/Results-Grid/2023-Tyre-Reviews-Performance-Tyre-Test.htm If you're doing track days, then look at Hankook RS-4, Advan AD08/AD09, etc. If you're drifting, then it would be worth getting another set of wheels with above street tyres, and keep your current Valino set for drift days.
  13. $50 max if it's in good condition. You can look on Yahoo Auctions Japan for an idea. They're quite common so wouldn't go for much.
  14. Nice car! I really wanted a C35 but there was none available here in Aus (wasn't being imported back then).
  15. yeah whitevison is pretty good. Wow just over $100 right now, straight from Germany (that's cheap).
  16. ah, finally remembered the name https://silvers-na.com/collections/neomax-coilovers/products/silvers-neomax-coilover-kit-nissan-skyline-r33-gts-t-1995-1998 same generic Taiwan stuff as BC/K-Sport/etc. with hopefully better than factory valving.
  17. Only people buying are drug dealers or kids who made loads of money in shitcoins. There's a reason Gibson Motorsport ditched the entire thing and engineered replacement arms/braces. Porsche only recently started offering it because it's a money maker.
  18. Get square shrouds for your projectors, e.g.: https://lightwerkz.net/search?type=product&q=square+shroud makes it look nicer (the panasquare also has DRL build in, Porsche Panamera based from back in the day).
