  1. Finally got the car back on the lift to get some pictures of the final product for the mates! I take no credit on this one my buddy Rashid is awesome and love when my car gets to go see him in his corner at Toyota. We have a little dyno there which is nice
  2. thats a super nice 4 door mate. i love my r32 gtr but damn i would sure like to add this to my collection what a sick family unit.

  4. e85 is easy to just to pricey for me. do your research on the mater/meth kits you might end up going this route once educated on the system....
  5. here is the base kit from aem...i know its not a down under piece but we use this alot around here on big power 2j's and rb's. keeps your engines valves crazy clean...my nossle is in my manifold. need a flex fuel sensor of some kind obviously haha....can run crazy boost if your motor is built for it with this kit. really cheap stuff too, i buy it at a farm supply shop in town. im sure some guys are gunna say this option isnt safe but it defintily is and works great. tried and tested mate. upgrade to a bigger tank to if you go this route.
  6. right on looks great. just an fyi i hair spray all my rubber connectors with hairspray helps keep them on with bigger boost, and helps with leaks. cheeers mate looks great.
  7. water/meth kit works wonders mate really cheap stuff that works great. i dont know about down under there but we have an AEM kit with safety backup and ive been running it solid for years. my opinion better setup than e85 for what its worth.
  8. love it. flex fuel setup on e85? im using water meth injection on my car. works great with the haltec. seems like the boys down under arent going this route but i can get it for cheap and it keeps my engine parts clean...

  11. you misunderstood me, and i worded in wrong yes. im going to add a 4" inlet/outlet 5" body resonator after the downpipe beside the driveshaft i have lots of room there...
  12. i dont know much about numbers but the damn thing sets alarms off left right and centre. i sure love the roar of the rb but its a little bit much for other poeple. i got tons of flow gunna add something midway quiet it down a bit.

  14. this was all stainless steal pieces from vibrant. a little bit pricey for the piping and muffler but damn worth it when it came down to the welding. was nice high quality pipe. exhaust is nicer than the car lol

Well after a lot brain scratching and figuring how we were gunna set this up so I didn’t drag my exhaust all over the province we finally got the exhaust tacked up with the new turbos and greddy down pipe. Been picking away at things during the covid wierdness. Anyway I’m sure there are a lot of guys with nicer systems but here’s ours. Sounds pretty good. Very loud tho. I’ll ad some more pics next time We got the car on hoist. Egt’s way lower now at 1.4 bar of boost injectors need to upgraded from 550 to what ever.

  17. ya you gotta do some more research mate! at this point get all the info you possibly can. understand the build and know exactly where you are going with the build/car. gunna be a nice thread to follow. take your time do things right. i suggest the 6boost manifold for your turbo setup. definitely go with big waste gates for the power you want. haltech and link are good tuning options....
  18. just wanted to add, if you guys are looking for 4" mufflers with a 4" inlet that is super hi flow this vibrant muffler i got sounds unreal! it is very loud but super deep. ive seen a couple threads and posts on guys looking for mufflers for custom setups with 4" inlet and didnt find much. it was this or the aes mufflers so i chose the vibrant as not many poeple do. just to be different glad i did sounds way better than the hks,tomei, or kakimoto gt1 oz(in my opinion). althought we have no laws down here at all for exhaust so might not be the best setup for places with stricter emission laws etc.
  19. after a good night of hard spirited drving, it was bvious that the new exhaust system brought the temp of the exhaust down by alot. at 1.4 bar now and the nismo injectors are at there limit......clutch slipping, injector duty cycle almost 100 now. time for some new parts!! cars never felt so good. my engine is stock minus the head gasket and seems to handle the power fine minus the clutch.
  20. New turbos fitted with the new greddy down pipe to a brand new custom 4” stainless exhaust! My buddy Rashid is super talented with the tig. We used all vibrant pieces with a vibrant muffler. Super high quality stuff turned out great!

  22. I understand what your saying it doesn’t matter. Not at all really. Just piece of mind knowing I don’t have a Frankenstein setup as the guy I bought them from said they 100 percent legit. I later found the turbos had 2 different actuators so I started asking questions in my head about them...
  23. I just wanted to confirm if they are actual n1’s as the compressor is different then my last set but the tag is the same 14411-06u00. I’m always happy regardless of boost or setup. Just looking for info that’s what the sites for. Not looking for comments on what to do and what is “safe” I didn’t buy my gtr be safe I bought it to drive it hard and maintain it. So yeah any info on the turbos would be cool thanks mates.
  24. I think they are r32 n1 turbos but the exhaust housing looks different to me...I don’t know shit tho when it comes to this stuff haha....
