  1. They told me they couldn't get any of the parts at a reasonable price, he said it would cost them $700 for a master cylinder. I bought the slave and new hose from Mitsubishi, and the master from Bursons. I just gave them the parts and they finished it in a few hours. $400 is good for a new clutch fitted, isn't it? When I got my clutch and flywheel installed, I was quoted from $350 to $550.
  2. Definitley in! Good to have the new classes as well
  3. Brand new master cylinder, and they bled the brakes. They didn't change pads or anything though, just master cylinder and fluid. (At ABS) Brakes plus recently changed my whole clutch system, new master cylinder, new slave cylinder and new hoses, including labour was $500. (which I thought was a very fair price, only charged $140 for labour) Which stores are you going to? Try the Brakes Plus on Bell St, Heidelberg, or ABS on Waterdale Rd, Heidelberg
  4. Hey guys, I got some brackets that let me bolt on Nissan 4 pots to the front of my car, they came with R32 GTR calipers, but I figure I might as well get something bigger now rather than later I should probably already know this... but... I'm assuming the R32/R33 Brembos are the ones that will allow the biggest rotors without any brackets or extra drilling? What is the next size down? R34 GT-t? Also, what is the biggest rotor you can fit inside a 17" rim? (They are AVS Model 6 if that makes any difference...) Thanks
  5. ABS or Brakes Plus I got my master cylinder replaced at ABS, was $300 installed.
  6. What heatrange plugs are you using?
  7. Rough calculation of AT THE CRANK kilowatt potential, based on injector size: (taken from Martin Donnon, Zoom 88, page 80) (injector size(cc) / 10.6) x 2 = horsepower injector will support convert to kilowatts: divide by 1.34 multiply by number of injectors. (600/10.6)*2 = 113.2 113.2/1.34 = 84.48 84.48*6 = 506.88kw at the crank

  11. the evo has a factory stutterbox
  12. an ls1 weighs about 400lbs, where as the RB weighs around 700lbs it is only as long as an I4, so it sits further back in the engine bay so not only is the whole car lighter, there is better weight distribution. no matter what way you try to skew it, it will come out lighter
  13. I guess this is some sort of consolation though
