  1. I think he is trying to find out of he has a numbers matching car cause in th USA it's a big thing to have one, but there is no way of telling in a Nissan
  2. Is it only the black that's being made again or is the silver available as well?
  3. On an rb26 it is where velict said it is
  4. thats not where the engine number is on an rb26 and the engine number is not stamped anywhere on the car. Also Nissan doesn't keep any records of what engines numbers were fitted to what car
  5. for now they are yes, I will be doing everything I can get every bit of power out of them that they will give and if/when they don't get to my goal I will then take another look in that area wont be all in one day but yes that's what I mean, labour is free as I will be doing it all myself, it's just the dyno time which once the initial tune is done the rest are touch ups
  6. Ok then yes it's 20° I would say they over fueling and dying issue is you have a dicky airflow meter or an intercooler pipe that isn't sealing properly You will need to get on to rhd and order the three metal spacers before continuing tho
  7. What engine is it?
  8. Rb26 is 20°btdc, rb20/25/30 are 15°btdc what ecu are you using? Does it retain the air flow meter? cause it kinda sounds like it is on its way out You didn't buy the wrong one, you need to take the metal rings out of the old gasket and put them in the new one
  9. awesome how much are you after for them?
  10. it will be a full flex e85 tune by the end of it, but the initial tune will be on 98. I have a plan and an order I'm going to do everything in to show what benefits each part that gets fitted has
  11. But of corse opinions are welcomed as i hope this will grab people interest and opinions show there is some interest
  12. This won't be a do everything in one hit build, it's also not going to be a slap a bunch of crap together and hope for the best. It's going to be a very thought out and have a few things a lot of people either wouldn't do or wouldn't think of
  13. Next up have this little collection of parts that need to go in, which includes a nismo twin plate, 1000cc injectors, plug in haltech, -7s and midori dump pipes,
  14. I'm going to try and keep the updates weekly in order to stop the thread/build going stale, not everything will be a performance upgrade, there will be some general refreshing and tidying up as well. But there will be photos and information of everything that gets done along the way
  15. Raving hart cp-f, they are actually now fitted to this car http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/457126-for-sale-my-2005-skyline-v35-coupe-s2-mature-owner-tastefully-modified/#entry7545806
  16. Ok first a bit of history I bought the car in 2003 it came with the usual exhaust and pods and beyond that was pretty much standard, i replaced the fuel pump and had the factory ecu remapped and made a respectable at the time 235kw at the wheels In 2004 I sold the car and stayed in contact with the new owner, come easter 2007 the owner decided he wanted to part with it and after a check over the deal was done. Over the next few years it stayed basically mechanically the same but got fitted with a set of r33 brembos and a new set of wheels In 2011 the engine finally let go and after dramas with the engine builder I lost interest in the car and it sat outside, untouched for about 3 or so years. Eventually I bought and fitted a stock r33 engine, removed the hicas and fitted another set of wheels So here we are today and I've finally decided to do a build but won't be anywhere near as big as the previous one was. The goal for this build is to make 373kw (500hp) at the wheels with as close to standard response as possible Now on to the build First things first after sitting around for so long, with my little helper I replaced all the oils in the car Then took it up to jez for a baseline run so that we know where I'm starting from and know how far I need to go So here we are with the baseline and a plan in place that I will reveal as the build continues
  17. Would you happen to have a set of stock front pipes?
  18. I think he has bigger issues in the fact the bolts are rubbing the inside of the crank angle sensor
  19. I saw this car on Saturday, I had to look a few times to realize It actually was this car
  20. What he needs to do is decide if he likes the way the car drives or not and stop looking at dyno sheets and close down this thread so he doesn't have everyone's opinion and just has his own
  21. They know you aren't coming back, you've plastered it all over this thread. Basically you left happy and now they are leaving at that, but because a bunch of people jumped on here and said "why is the boost falling away" now you want answers Time is money and you have no interest in spending money with them anymore, so they will give their time to people who will. I know of workshops that charge for time on phone
  22. Have to say this ended up very different to what I expected when I first started reading, really cool! big thumbs up
