  1. Cause 33 cheaper and way easier to find a good one
  2. The 2 washer trick all the way, someone didn't fit 2 washer on my rb30 when the built it, it lifted the head the second we started it
  3. You wouldn't be suggesting the Japanese catalogue parts were restrictive and shit would you? cause that would be a travesty
  4. Nolathane also do a subframe bush kit
  5. the fact that we have all seen many Gtr make well over 400kw at the wheels with the factory blow off valves is a pretty good reason to not waste your money replacing themCan your "mechanic" prove they are leaking or taking a stab in the dark and spending your money in the process?
  6. Leave the front lip black, looks so much better and original
  7. Only one of those things is a test, the rest is prep work
  8. I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about xgtx
  9. They swapped the cams, adjusted all the shim heights, did a run and then swapped them back, uummmmmm yeah I highly doubt it
  10. Agree considering how easy it is to get the parts to do it now
  11. Yea I stated earlier that the reason we took them out was due to the fact we couldn't get the correct seat pressure without having a bind problem even with just using a pon cam
  12. the only way to make them even semi work is to not cut the valve seats, but then the valves leak and defeats the purpose of rebuilding the head in the first place95% of Japanese part are bolt in parts with factory specifications and once the factory specs are gone they no longer work Paul had half a Japanese catalogue in his car and it just cracked 400kw, once he took out half the Japanese stuff and went with Australian made stuff he is now doing 475atw with smaller turbos, why? Cause there are no restrictions anymore and everything works properly
  13. still want to fit Japanese branded springs? You do don't you, go on, fit them please
  14. Go fit them I don't care it's not my money, but make sure you talk to Joey and piggaz
  15. Might have been 60 was 3 years ago, but you're welcome to ask Joey or piggaz about their experience with Japanese valve springs. Make sure you ask Joey tho cause his is definitely a story you'll want to hear
  16. We needed 80 pound of seat pressure and when we shimmed them up enough to achieve it they would bind even with a poncam (9.15mm)
  17. we have all used different brand and model of springs and they all have the same issue, it's ok we've made the mistakes and are happy to pass on the information. If you still choose to buy them and then end up paying twice, I really don't care cause I've learnt from my mistakes and won't be making them again
  18. You can say the statement is shit all you like, but if you actually have a decent engine builder that checks the seat pressure you will find you can't get enough seat pressure without the creating a coil bind situation because they are made to soft from factory
  19. I used tomei, Paul used hks And I'd hate to tell you but they don't work, this is now the 4th or 5th case of this issue
  20. Funny every time I try to tell people this is an issue I get told I'm an idiot
  21. Used Japanese branded spring and they floated?
