Oil pump is engine out, can be done in the car but requires the gearbox and all the front suspension to be removed and you may as well have pulled the engine out anyway cause it would have been faster
Speaking of getting the front bar on that was a nightmare, I knew the r32 had less room in the front but I didnt know it was this much less.
Because I wanted to keep the factory mesh in there i had to trial fit the front bar and bend the mesh and try again, this happened about 6 times to finally get it right but was worth the effort
It's stock sir I swear
So for what I thought was a bolt in intercooler took a lot longer to actually get on the car, the quality and mounting points were perfect but due to the extra width I had to undo the bumper support and move it out of the way and slide it all in togetherand how close it is to the front support with it all fitted again
Reason for the front bar coming off was fitting a new intercoolerwhich is a plazmaman pro series with the 76mm core because I didn't want to modify the front bar to fit it
quick photo of new and old next to each other, i didn't realize how much bigger it was till I did this
I also decided to get rid of the airflow meters,no because I think they're a restriction but just cause I could
so I got the hks adapters and here they are in the car, I forgot to take a photo out of the car
And finally the turbos can start going on, some people will be a bit disappointed but I'm staying twins (that was never a secret) and they are nothing specialjust a basic set of -5s with very low kms that I got for a price way to good to pass up
Had some time today so I decided to spend it playing with the car finally unwrapped all the parts I got ceramic coated, it's a shame you won't see them once they're installed
It really is a how long is a piece of string questions, basically it all comes down to a lot of things including cams, how far you want to rev it, wear on the springs or even the old was it built on a Wednesday or is it a Friday afternoon special
