  1. I should be able to make it, what time though?
  2. You'd have to have a screw loose to buy an Alfa
  3. Use the balancer that your car comes with
  4. I guess some people have patience and understand this shit takes time and if the workers are on the phone to you then they aren't working on your car
  5. With shell now supplying e85 in the v8 stupid cars is there a chance we may start seeing it at shell servos and take away the monopoly united currently has
  6. Swap the signal wires around for crank and cam signals pretty bad when haltech USA obviously don't know the product
  7. I'm not saying bigger cams don't have their place, if want a 1000hp at the wheels then obviously you're going to use a fairly decent sized cam but then again at those levels response isn't at the forefront of your priorities. What im saying is so many people are fitting bigger cams in the pursuit of better down low power and improved response, perfect expample is If you have an engine that has cams that still make power at 8500 and turbos that roll over at 7000 how is bigger cams going to be a benefit? My findings come from many cars I have worked on from 6L na v8, 2.0 4cly turbos and down to 1.3L 4cly na engines. Even rotarys with their port timing will do exactly the same thing
  8. And I'm still waiting to be proven wrong, cause every time someone fits longer duration cams the bottom end power drops, which is tested very easily by doing a before and after compression test so until the dynamic compression then increases again at their higher rpm efficiency level they will always be left behind in the bottom end
  9. Unfortunately it's not unanimous because to many people still the the rb26 works different to every other combustion engine and believe fitting bigger cams will improve bottom end apart from that there was a lot a sarcasm in my post
  10. Are you suggesting those idiots on the forum were right and that increasing duration decreases bottom end torque and makes a turbo come on later? And anyone who bought bigger cams to improve response has actually done the wrong thing?
  11. Yes 12 tooth, cause the crank spins twice for every revolution of the cam a 12 tooth wheel get counted twice making it 24 crank counts to one cam count
  12. No won't work, haltech plug in will only allow a 24+1 (12 teeth on crank and 1 on the cam)
  13. Can't remember it was a few years though was about the same time you broke your engine I think
  14. This all started cause a gearbox broke, I think it was actually 4 but that's in the past and right now if I want to drive mine I go to the garage and turn the key
  15. At least all of us twin fairies actually have cars that work
  16. Very long time, cause making our cars happy to run on 48v might take some work
  17. Push it on, twist and then keep twisting back and forth as you pull it back
