  1. that thing is awesome man, i love the welds on the cage!!!, it looks really responsive out of each turn!!
  2. yea my car runs no abs (nismo edition), there just dosnt seam to be any room there, ive got a 52mm alloy radiator, factory cooler. My oil cooler is in the front passenger brake duct like you have said. and i have a slot cut in the wheel well, with mesh covering it so rocks cant smash my cooler. ive mounted it in there took me ages to make up brackets and things, it just looks my efficent, where yours is in that pic. my car runs quite hot compared to My mates 32R, his got no Ac but and his cooler is mounted where yours is, his also got a factory radiator. Ive got a Nismo Thermostat, 52mm alloy radiator, oil cooler..... but cant quite keep it as cool as his, in saying that its not geting Hot Hot, temps sit around 80deg on a warm night, and get to 95 when into it. i also dont have a shoud on my radiator so i think that is whats making it run hotter. Im in the middle, of fibreglass one, alil bit of sanding tomoro and she'll be ready to paint, ill see if that fix's it. ive got a good feeling it will.
  3. just a quick question about your pic BB, is that gtr in the pic still running A/c? or has it been removed? im just looking at the oil cooler. you have so much room there.... my car is so tight i cant fit my cooler anywhere but down in the front bar... so shit
  4. my vote gose, buy the PS3 from the shops, Jb or what ever.... buy GT5.... save some cash and check ebay and pick upa 360 for 300-400bux and buy Foz 3..... best of both worlds....
  5. im alsp interested in finding this out, as i plan to move my battery to the boot and run a big alloy one
  6. whats the go with the HKS actuators? how do you set them? or they all set at 16 psi? or do u buy em pre set?
  7. ive got 300awkw, my box has been through 100s of launchs, dumping the clutch between gear changes, its really had a trashing, ive got a ORC solid centre twin plate too. we will see how long she lasts once my new motor is built. hehe
  8. very good work, this should be sticky
  9. whats the go with it? a free trackday?
  10. post up some pics mate, im very interested
  11. i cant believe this is for real... this guy has got to be joking
  12. it also depends on how free flowing your exhaust is, i remember on my s13 track car with just a straight pipe for a exhaust you could here the BB of the turbo when it was just siting there at idle, same as my mates WRX with a decent sized exhaust you can here the turbo spining at idle, i wouldnt be worried.
  13. yea big no no i wouldnt do that.... for my 4wd i would, but def not my gtr and than a race track.
  14. yeap, everyone so far is spot on, my motor when i brought it was running 20psi with N1 steel wheel turbos, i drove it on the street for 12months, (its my second car so i dont drive it much) and did one trackday. When i took it to the dyno for Jez to tune, once tail pipe A/F and the A/F guage was put in before the cat, they wouldnt even ramp it up under full load on the dyno, it was too lean.... we didnt even do one run they started adding fuel straight away.... so who no's what A/F ratio it was running and what they did with the tune before i brought it, the night we were tuning was only 20deg too so the engine was nice all cool, compared to the 35deg day i did my trackday at eastern creek, my oil temps where up around 125-130deg and my water temp got to 100deg when i was pulling off the track.... she was deff running hot! The engine now has been tuned twice, and comp test came in at 150 across the lot, and that was a cold engine. shes a solid 311rwkw on only 18psi. and has lasted 1 night at the drags and a trackday at mdtc, and a far bit of street thrashing, so far, so good, i call it a freak as most rb's would have spun a bearing or shit em selfs in some sorter way. I always run good oils in my enigne (redline) and its changed before and after each and every trackday, i also make sure i do a warm up lap, and a cool down lap if the temps are starting to build. Oh and dont forget the 1L overfill if u plan to use the stock sump. If its a healthy engine and you look after it, with quality stuff, it will last.... 25psi is a diffrent story but....
  15. this will be a good question for everyone, whats the best way to pull the old studs out?? just use nuts and lock em againt each other, then undo the stud with the inside nut? and what do you guys do for broken off studs??

  21. wow they look the goods, how much did the brackets cost you in the end??
  22. fix the bonnet, get a nice set of deep dish wheels, get a set of coil overs, sit it at a decent but not stupid low ride height, find a LSD for the rear. and i have a awesome drivers car, that you can go play in the twistys all night and have a awesome time. Your mates in there newer commo's and there shitty autos, would never and could never have as much fun as a lighter, stiffer, manual car.... than is fun to trash around in. i used to have the same R33 same colour and all. I had black deep dish wheels and a nice exhaust and decent suspension... for a P plate car is was awesome.
  23. do you think theres goin to be a chance of -5 wheels anytime soon..... it dosent sound like it,,,
