yea just goto the track on low boost, you dont want to be trashing your car all day on high boost anyway, my stock gtr injectors are at 100% on high boost, but i only run 16psi at the track so they only get to 70ish....

what needs to be done to the wiring??

also once your finshed, make sure u grab the turbo wheel and spin it, make sure its spinning freely and not rubing on anything... i have heard storys of people rotating the housing and the turbo wheel just slightly rubs on the housing and weres a lil grove it in, plus fills your intake with alloy filings

i recon rub it back and repaint it so much easyer

ive got a cannon on my car, its quite and sounds awesome when on full boost. when cruising its quite as, it depends what kinda of cannon you buy and what eles you have on the rest of the exhaust.

Yea it was sucking vapour, it was just running mega rich and backfiring when you lifted your foot. Like a big back fire lol 1 meter flames, like a gun going off. Haha it blow the middle muffler from the inside out hahaha broke all the little tac dipple welds holding it together. I learnt my lession there hahaha

I norm also put a 2inch block of wood under the brake pedal so the pedal can't hit the floor, takes a lil longer to pump it though but no chance you can suck any air

It never realy got off boost driving, it was just short bursts up and down my street, the plugs were dark but I think that was because I had that stupid fuel tank breather plugged into the TB lol. Once you found that prob, than it was missing just a's it rolled on boost, the main way I found out it was lean poping, was I turned the boost down from 16psi back to stock, and it got alot better. Hardly did it at all, that's when I realised it was lack of fuel, and a during fuel pump was to blame. But in saying that if I would have changed the plugs after we change the TB plumbing I'd say the plugs would have gotten light coloured.

It sounds like Lean pop to me, if it's only soon it as it rolls on boost, check the fuel pressure after the filter, I'd just replace the filter for the sake of it. Is the car running stock boost?

i like this idea... take it to the closest peace of straight road and see if it makes a diffrence......take a video cam with you too so we all can here it... lol ahh yea and thats a private straight road if anyone asks too.....

my truck can legally tow 2.5T, as long as its braked, it says it on the tow bar and on the inside of the door.... i dont no what you are talking about..... and yeap they are super hard to find in a 42tdi, it took me ages to find my one, i traveled to get it and payed the price for it, but in the end i got the best truck i could buy and i love it, takes the load for work, gose well, dosent drink fuel like my old Navara (4L v6), and tows the GTR like a dream. plus i got the ST model so its got all the electrics inside plus the carpet and sounds deader, and most of all Coil springs all round!!! not many utes that run that!! and if your worried about taking weight you just pump up the air bags with the on board compressor : D
