  1. I did, but It is sold pending payment.
  2. Wasn't aimed at you mate
  3. Lol at the bucket of ass, that has to be the worst Jag ive ever seen.
  4. Dunno if you would want to do the drive but MRA - www.motorracingaustralia.com.au is run at wakefield 4 times a year, and are a good bunch of guys.
  5. i might be keen, but im a bit far away lol. I'll see if I can find someone to pick it up depending on how much you were after for it. No promises though.
  6. Instant recipie for a dead motor! Doesnt work on these motors, Why....Small turbo comes on boost, with pressureises the intake system, air will find the easiest way out, and so will force its way out of the turbo that isnt spinning very hard and bam worlds biggest boost leak, untill the exhaust gas can finally turn the larger turbo and then there is a pressure differential blah blah blah.
  7. +1 and the Evo is the better car outta the 2
  8. Because the way I read it, you were saying that you need a billion rpm to have a fast car, i was trying to point out that it isnt the case. (plus I was at work so kept getting called away, so half my stuff I could've explained better lol)
  9. I know what you guys are saying, My argument doesnt fail, but having an engine that needs to rev to a billion rpm just isnt sensible imo. I know the maths, I live and breath this stuff, My view is that having an engine that makes bulk torque at a lowish rpm yet is still able to rev to a half decent amount will make a better engine for 99% of scenarios, nothing in F1 can be applied to the real world, but if you guys want to buy a gazillion dollar F1 motor than go for it. Me well if i didnt have a budget I would be buying an IHRA Pro stock 815CI V8, they only rev to 7800rpm, but make over 1400hp and run 6's down the 1/4 and the torque curve would make most oil tankers look wimpy.
  10. So all the old fireworks store now sell pr0n lol
  11. You will need a Full cage (cams approved) as a minimum if you want to do door to door stuff. I cant help you with what series there are down there though.
  12. Well for starters this whole site (admins, mods, execs etc) Do not want the club to be seen as a bunch of hoon street racers, who do 200km/h on public roads. Considering the fact that just about every news program/newspaper/police agency have accounts on here and are always trolling around looking for stuff to pin on us. Its not a good idea to be saying that shite
  13. I like the idea, but having all the brands there makes it look like an Add imo. Maybe just use the boxes for people to fill out, rather than having the brand names there.
  14. zebra

    Rage!

There are a few car being wrecked in the for sale section atm
  15. And there goes any respect I had
  16. They might have a decent power band, but you have to get it there, so a car that weighs 1700kgs has to have some bottom end torque to be able to pull it to the power band (think of a 2-stroke single cylinder race bike, horrible slow until they are in the right rev range), where then it would take off, so while it would be quick while in the power band (which doesnt start to about 10000rpm) it has to get there in the 1st place and would be rather slow untill it did. My example is then a Diesel Le mans prototype, they only rev to 5500 but are still plenty quick, dont make a heap of power but have a stupid amount of torque, as you say they are geared for it. No point in having an engine that revs to 17,200 like an f1 car if you have to anything other than drive for 300km in a 600kg car with more aero aids than an F-117
  17. FFS Power is a by-product of Torque x RPM, more torque + more rpm = more power So you expect an engine with f**k all torque to be able to pull a heavy car through the gears? might be quick if it had 20 gears so it could stay in the power band. Go put your 50,000rpm motor in anything and i will race you in something the same weight with a 2 cylinder diesel from 0-40km/h, using the same gearing. So You keep telling yourself that you are right mate.
  18. Now you are changing the game, F1 cars weigh 600kgs. Not nearly 2 Tonne Put a 2.4L F1 V8 in your 1700kg skyline and see how fast you go.
  19. I dont care what you do lol, I just want the wheels
  20. Ahk gotya
  21. Hahaha And then you will want to strip it, cage it and stick a 600hp 3L in the thing with a dog box bolted behind it. Well thats what I did
  22. Wait.... ..So you say that your plenums will make - 1500hp flow, better yadda yadda yadda. But they have never been tested? Am I missing something here?
  23. Indeed! If you are being a dick on the roads, just because a beat up 1 tonne falcon ute is the only car around doesnt mean its a cop. Ive seen many a car pulled over by and un-marked "work ute" complete with wheel barrow and toolboxes in the tray.
